A sad day at Hollywood today as we wish Dr Rowena Cao a very special see you soon as she heads off to London with her husband for an exciting new chapter. 🇬🇧

Rowena joined the Hollywood GP family back in 2023 at our original Hardy Road location and has been such an important part of our journey ever since.

From our early days in the old clinic to growing into our new space, Rowena has been there caring for our patients with her warmth, expertise and genuine dedication. She has been such a valued member of our team, and we are so grateful for everything she has brought to Hollywood GP.

While we’ll miss having her around the clinic, we are so excited for Rowena and her husband as they head off to London for this next adventure 🇬🇧

This isn’t goodbye - just a see you soon! We can’t wait to hear about all the amazing memories you make.

One year of our Menopause Hub 👩🌸💐

Today marks 1 year since we launched our first practice hub dedicated to menopause care. What started as an idea has grown into a service we’re really proud to offer our community.

Welcome back Dr Marcel Kalau! 🩺

We’re pleased to welcome back Vasectomist, Dr Marcel Kalau, who will be providing Vasectomy services at Hollywood GP one Thursday a month from the 4th of June.

Dr Marcel Kalau is a full-time vasectomy doctor and the founder of Aussie Vasectomy Care. He has performed over 6,000 vasectomies., and uses a modern no-scalpel technique, with consultation and the procedure completed in a single visit. Marcel takes the time to ensure patients feel comfortable, well-informed and supported throughout their procedure.

As we pause to reflect and honour those who have served, our clinic will be closed over the ANZAC Day long weekend.

We kindly encourage all patients to check their medications and organise any repeat prescriptions in advance, ensuring you have an adequate supply during the closure period.

Your health and safety remain our priority. If you require urgent medical attention, please call 000 or attend Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital.

We will reopen as usual following the long weekend.

Free Flu Vaccines in May and June!

Flu season is here - and this year, the WA Government is covering the cost of your flu vaccine for a limited time for all Medicare eligible patients.

No excuses… just protection ✔️

We will be having flu vaccine clinics running throughout May to help you stay protected this winter. With flu cases starting to rise, now is the perfect time to book in and get your vaccination sorted early. Covid-19 vaccinations can be given at at the same time and will be available for those patients needing a booster.
