Tribal Sweat

Tribal Sweat Think, Eat, Move, optimally. My purpose in conducting group fit classes is to empower participants in mind, body & soul.

Functional Health, Movement & Longevity Coach
*Movement Alchemy & Biomechanics, Fascial Fitness, Nutrition & Lifestyle Coaching, Hormone Aware Tendon Training & Pain Reduction & Joint Function. Tribal Sweat is an exercise, habit and long term lifestyle training service offering group fitness activities and lifestyle analysis and review, primarily to women wanting greater health, more harmonious balance in their life and an injection of practical knowledge and feel goodness. Tribal Sweat offers an ever evolving and dynamic fusion of all the exercise modalities and practises that I have experienced and learned work best to break through the weight loss plateau & lose visceral fat, improve and build core strength, pelvic floor control, body positivity, energy, strength, and the stability of the posterior chain, hormones and moods. Stretch Soul Release is an non-traditional stretching class designed progressively, to manually lengthen the core muscles, decompress the mind, soul and body and relax the magnetic grip of connective tissue, all the way to the bone. This active and immersive stretching gives a deep release of tension and toxins stored in “knots” and creates the space needed in tissues so that fluids and blood travel freely, breathing life and movement into dense and compressed areas. Fascia stretching improves the functional properties of your muscular connective tissues, it lengthens tendons & ligaments and lubricates joint capsules and muscular envelopes. If you are interested in achieving optimal health, function and vitality please contact me direct and book a complimentary consultation.

I’m not particularly interested in just getting people to move.

I want to help & inspire people to get better at living.

Over the years, my work has moved further away from conventional “fitness” & deeper into understanding how the human body needs to be supported — particularly as we age.

Strength. Balance. Mobility. Metabolic health. Hormones. Joint range. Flexibility. Endurance. Power.

And increasingly, how we think about our bodies, recover & protect them, and discern the choices we make for them.

My focus is simple; I teach people to eat, move & think optimally, for life.

That might mean rebuilding after chronic pain, surgery or injury.

Loading an irritated tendon instead of becoming frightened of movement.

Becoming confident on stairs again.

Building strength & balance for independence.

Understanding nutrition, metabolism or a changing body.

Teaching a child water safety & how to swim.

Or creating somewhere people can exercise safely, learn, laugh & belong.

I’m qualified across Personal Training, Nutrition Mentoring & Chronic Pain Coaching, with specialist training in Fascial Fitness, Stick Mobility, nervous-system safety, aquatic & functional movement.

One of my greatest strengths is remaining green enough to know there’s always more to learn.

I study, question, research & change my mind when better evidence comes along.

I believe every exercise should have a reason and every class, a purpose.

So what is Tribal Sweat?

It sits at the intersection of functional health, movement restoration, progressive strength, longevity, nutrition & community.

Its purpose is to create more capable humans — from the inside out & the outside in.

What I hear reflected back is that people value being taught, not simply exercised.

They want to understand why and adapt movement to the body they have today with clarity & confidence.

And somewhere along the way, friendships form. There’s conversation, laughter, belonging, autonomy & fun.

That matters enormously to me.

I don’t know everything, I hope I never think I do however I know my lane.

Helping people build bodies, habits & minds capable of carrying them through life.

That’s Tribal Sweat.

FIND & NURTURE YOUR TRIBE.

Each of us are hard wired for connection, not just for company and not simply to be one of the numbers that fill a table, a group chat or a morning walk.

Real connection, the kind where you can deeply exhale and be yourself, no performing, utterly unguarded and embraced.

Your tribe of people genuinely care, they ask how you’re doing and they want the honest answer.

They notice when you’re not yourself and they reach out, offering a soft place to fall, bounce back or just be held.

They practice reciprocity, they don’t keep score, however the care and effort flows both ways.

They check in as well as being checked on, they listen as well as being heard and they make space for you, as you make space for them.

They celebrate your joy, hold you through the hard stuff and allow you to do the same for them.

You don’t have to continually chase connection, prove your value or carry the friendship alone.

In your tribe, trust doesn’t have to be questioned, and your wins are celebrated, not compared.

You leave feeling lighter, stronger, inspired and more like yourself.

Your tribe doesn’t need to be big, it needs to be real.

Spend time with people who inspire you to grow without making you feel inadequate.

People who uplift without flattering.

People who empower you to trust yourself rather than needing you to depend on them.

People who are inclusive and who invite you in to their world, their interests, hobbies and inner thoughts.

People who can laugh with you, challenge you, sit beside you when life is messy, and genuinely want good things for you.

And perhaps most importantly, be that person for others too because the quality of our lives isn’t only shaped by what we eat, how we move and think or what we achieve.

It’s shaped by who we do life with.

Choose your people with discernment.

Nurture the good ones, show up authentically and allow yourself to belong.

Find your tribe, and be someone worth having in theirs.

I believe discernment is one of the most underrated skills to develop for our health, our bodies, our mental state and our lives.

Discernment is the ability to pause long enough to ask:

Is this taking me closer to where I want to go… or further away?

Discernment is having the capacity to notice what is in front of you, evaluate it with clarity rather than impulse, and decide what deserves your attention, action, acceptance or release.

It’s different from judgement. Judgement tends to ask, “Is this good or bad?”

Discernment asks, “Is this useful, appropriate, aligned, healthy or necessary for me in this situation?”

The exercise you’re investing your time, energy and money into — is it building strength, capacity and confidence or repeatedly driving you towards injury, burnout and flare-ups?

The things you give your attention to, do they actually deserve a response because not every comment needs defending, not all problems require solving, and not every battle is yours to fight.

Some things require action, some need boundaries while others deserve to simply be let go.

The people you surround yourself with matter too.

Do they encourage integrity, growth, kindness and courage?
Or do you find yourself becoming more negative, reactive, judgemental or small in their company?

And then there are the everyday choices.

What you eat and think, how you move, what you consume, who you listen to and where you spend your energy.

Living well isn’t about making the perfect choice every time.

It’s about becoming intentional enough to reflect upon your choices with discernment, to recognise which ones repeatedly move you towards the person, body and life you want to build and which ones move you away.

Alongside think well, eat well, move well is, choose well.

Your attention is valuable, your energy is finite and your body is listening, so consider making your choices wisely, through the lens of discernment.
