Father’s Day is coming up ā¤ļø

And while socks, un**es and another mug are always solid contenders… maybe Dad needs an hour where absolutely nobody needs anything from him. šŸ˜†

No jobs to do.
No questions to answer.
No notifications.
No ā€œwhile you’re upā€¦ā€

Just a warm table, quiet room and 60 (or maybe 90 šŸ‘€) minutes to completely switch off.

Massage gift vouchers are available for Father’s Day — because sometimes the best gift is giving someone permission to stop for a little while. ā¤ļø

I have a confession…

I think I’ve been underestimating how short 60 minutes actually is. šŸ˜…

Over the last couple of weeks, I’ve been lucky enough to receive two 90-minute treatments myself and BOTH times I’ve gotten off the table thinking… *wait, that was 90 minutes?!*

And then I remembered that most of you book 60 with me.

How?! šŸ˜‚

It’s actually given me a bit of a different perspective from the other side of the table.

In a 60-minute treatment, we can absolutely do beautiful, effective work. But there’s still a clock ticking. There’s only so much time to let your nervous system settle, work through the areas that need attention, and give your body a chance to really soften.

With 90 minutes, there’s room.

Room to spend longer where your body needs it without sacrificing everything else.
Room to slow down.
Room for your nervous system to realise it doesn’t have to be anywhere else.
Room for me to listen to what I’m feeling under my hands instead of thinking, *okay, I need to move on.*

And honestly? After being on the receiving end again, I think I understand the value of that extra time more than ever.

So if you’ve always automatically clicked ā€œ60 minutesā€ when you book, maybe give yourself the 90 sometime.

Not because you *need more massage*.

Because sometimes your body deserves not to be rushed. ā¤ļø

This is the face of someone who is actually taking her own advice for once. šŸ˜‚

The last month has been A LOT.

Getting the clinic ready, moving in, opening the doors, treating my first full week in my own space, then heading straight to Sydney for a weekend of learning… my brain is full, my heart is very happy and my body is saying **enough now, thanks.** šŸ˜‚

So I’m listening.

I’m working reduced days and hours this week and giving myself a little more space to recover, settle and actually process everything that’s happened over the last few weeks.

I talk to my clients all the time about listening to their bodies. About rest. About nervous systems. About not waiting until your body is screaming before you finally pay attention to the whispers.

Turns out that advice applies to the massage therapist too. šŸ˜†

There will be plenty of time to tell you about what I learned at the conference (once my brain has actually unpacked it šŸ˜‚), but for now I’m practising what I preach.

Rest isn’t something we have to earn. ā¤ļø

Closing out my very first week in my own clinic 🄹🌿

What a week.

A huge thank you to every single person who has shown me love, support and, most importantly, trusted me with their care as I’ve stepped into this new chapter.

There have definitely been a few ā€œwhere did I put that?ā€ moments šŸ˜† and I’m sure there will be plenty more as I settle in, but walking into this little space each day and getting to call it mine still feels a little surreal.

And I’m not slowing down just yet…

This weekend I’m heading to Sydney for some continued education focused on calming and regulating the nervous system — something that already sits so close to the heart of how I treat.

I can’t wait to learn, experience, and bring some new tools back into the treatment room for you all. šŸ¤Ž

Week one, done.
Lights out. See you next week. 🌿

**One day has turned into day one. 🄰**

Today is my first day treating in my very own clinic.

I know there will be glitches. I know there will be plenty of wandering around wondering where the hell I put that thing šŸ˜† and I already know I’ll keep moving things around until the space feels just right.

But this morning, sitting here looking around, I’m realizing that a lifelong dream is taking shape right in front of my eyes.

Knead to Relax has a home. šŸ„¹ā¤ļø

And today, I get to welcome my first clients into it.

Day one. Let’s do this. 🄰

16/08/2026

Ready for tomorrow. šŸ¤ŽšŸŒæ

Well… ā€œreadyā€ might be a strong word. šŸ˜†

If you know me, you know this room will probably never be *finished*. I’ve already moved things around since taking this video, and I’m sure I’ll move them another 47 times as I settle into the space and figure out what feels right.

But while the room will change, the important stuff won’t.

The same care.
The same attention to you and what your body is telling me.
The same intention of creating a space where you don’t have to be ā€œonā€ for a while.

A place for your body to soften, your nervous system to settle, and you to just… be.

Tomorrow, Knead to Relax officially begins treating from its very own little home. 🄹

I got the keys. šŸ”‘šŸŒæ

Two years ago, Knead to Relax started with me renting a room and wondering if anyone would actually book.

Today, I put my name on my own door.

Knead to Relax officially has a home. 🄹

It isn’t finished. The floors will change. There’ll be paint, lamps, furniture, plants and approximately 700 tiny things I’ll obsess over as I slowly make this space mine.

But the table is here.
The rug is down.
My name is on the door.
Treatments start on Monday!!!!!!

And most importantly, there’s a soft place to land. ā¤ļø

I’m so incredibly grateful to every single person who has trusted me with their body, recommended me to a friend, rebooked, shared a post, sent a message or simply kept showing up. You are the reason I’ve been able to take this terrifying, exciting next step.

**Knead to Relax is now in its very own space in Nelson Bay.**

And I cannot believe I get to say that. šŸ„¹šŸ”‘

More details (and a LOT of transforming-this-place content šŸ˜†) coming very soon.

Welcome home, KTR. 🌿

The slightly less glamorous part of growing a business: waiting. šŸ˜‚
There are lawyers and leases and dates that keep being almost-dates, while I’m over here mentally arranging furniture in a space I don’t have the keys to yet.
So while all of that happens in the background, I’m reminding myself that Knead to Relax isn’t the room.
It’s this.
Slow treatments. Warm towels. A quiet room. A place where you don’t have to be ā€œonā€ for an hour.
The new home is coming. Apparently it’s just teaching me patience first. 🫠

Two years ago this month, I opened the doors to Knead to Relax at LAZE WELLNESS COLLECTIVE

I had no idea where the journey would lead. I just knew I wanted to create a place where people could feel safe, cared for, and leave feeling a little lighter than when they arrived.

Over the past two years, Knead to Relax has grown alongside me. There have been plenty of lessons, a few unexpected detours, lots of happy tears, and so many incredible people who’ve trusted me with their care.

And now... it’s time for the next chapter.

I’m so excited to share that Knead to Relax has found a home of its own.

I’ll always be grateful to Laze for giving me a place to grow this little business into what it is today. This isn’t about leaving something behind—it’s about taking the next step.

For the next little while, it’s business as usual. I’ll still be treating from Laze while I get the new space ready, and I’ll be sharing little glimpses as everything comes together.

To every person who’s booked an appointment, recommended me to a friend, liked a post, or simply cheered me on... thank you. You’ve helped make this possible, and I can’t wait to welcome you into the new home of Knead to Relax. šŸ¤
