We are so proud of Bayley’s ability to and leave no stone unturned in the pursuit of his goals.

Have you ever wondered what we do in our spare time as Physiotherapists? 🧐

Occasionally we run a quick tutorial for other coaches on how to use our equipment. Here is an insight of Nathan and Wiehan talking about our AX-IT force plates and some quick cues on what to do when doing a Countermovement Jump (CMJ) and Countermovement Hop tests.

By analyzing these movements on our AX-IT system, we can instantly see:

* Your Explosive Power: Exactly how much vertical drive and force your lower body produces.
* Left vs. Right Asymmetries: When you dip and explode (or hop on one leg), is one side secretly doing all the heavy lifting? We’ll map out imbalances down to the millisecond.
* Braking & Landing Mechanics: It’s not just about how high you go—it’s about how safely you absorb force when you come back down.

No more guessing. Just pure, explosive data.

🏔️ From sea level to the summit of the world: Our athlete Oliver Foran has done the impossible!

On May 20, 2026, Oli stood on top of Mount Everest (8,849m) and etched his name into history, breaking the World Record for the fastest sea-to-summit, non-motorised ascent of the world’s highest peak, completing the journey in just 50 days. 🌊➡️🏔️

That’s 1,150km cycled from the Bay of Bengal, trekking through Nepal, surviving an avalanche, and still finding the strength to summit the highest point on Earth.
But what makes Oli’s achievement even more extraordinary is why he did it! Raising funds for youth mental health and honouring his late mum. Pure heart. Relentless grit. World-class athlete.

We are beyond proud to be part of your journey, Oli. This is what PEAK is all about. 🙌

Congratulations, Oliver Foran - World Record holder. 🌍

Can’t wait to watch you on your next journey!

Push Beyond Your Limits: Trek to Annapurna Base Camp with PEAK 🏔️

What if the only thing standing between you and extraordinary is the decision to go?
This October, we’re inviting you to step beyond your comfort zone and join us on an unforgettable trek to Annapurna Base Camp, Nepal.

At PEAK Sport & Spine, we believe physiotherapy is about more than recovering from injury. It’s about building confidence, resilience, and discovering what your body is truly capable of.

Over 11 incredible days, you’ll trek through stunning Himalayan landscapes, challenge yourself physically and mentally, and experience the satisfaction of achieving something you once thought was out of reach.

Will it be challenging? Absolutely.
Will it be worth it? Without question.

The goal isn’t just to reach Base Camp at 4,130m. It’s to prove to yourself that you’re capable of more than you think.

We’ll help you prepare in the months leading up to departure with guidance, training, and support every step of the way.
Different backgrounds. Different fitness levels. One shared goal: doing something extraordinary.

If you’ve been waiting for a sign, this is it.
Ready to discover what’s on the other side of doubt?

🟢 NEW BLOG 🟢

Bone stress injuries (BSIs) are a common issue, particularly in runners and active individuals. Despite often being associated with the term “stress fracture,” these injuries rarely happen suddenly. Instead, they develop gradually over time when the balance between bone loading and recovery is disrupted.

In this blog we talk about what BSIs are and how they can develop with the purpose of leading to early recognition, appropriate management, and prevention.

🟢 COACH HIGHLIGHT 🟢

Six months ago, PEAK Physio and Coach Liam set himself a challenge:

Complete the 3.8km Noosa Open Water Swim.

The catch? He didn’t come from a swimming background.
What followed were months of early mornings, late evenings, cold pools, long sessions, and countless kilometres in the water.

There were plenty of opportunities to choose comfort.

Instead, Liam chose growth.
He chose the alarm clock.
He chose the cold water.
He chose consistency.
He chose the work.

He mastered his game and chose his pain.
Recently, all of that effort came together as Liam successfully completed the 3.8km Noosa Open Water Swim, a huge achievement and a testament to what can happen when you commit to a goal and trust the process.

A special thank you also goes to fellow PEAK athletes Greg and Kai Taylor, whose support, encouragement, and shared experience throughout the journey played an important role along the way.

At PEAK, we believe performance isn’t reserved for elite athletes.
It’s for anyone willing to show up, do the work, and pursue something that matters to them.

Congratulations Liam. A massive achievement and one that was well earned.

What’s your favourite way to recover after a workout?

This conclusion is based on a systematic review, meaning researchers analysed and combined findings from multiple studies to provide a higher level of evidence than any single study alone.

When it comes to health and exercise information, systematic reviews help cut through individual opinions and isolated findings by looking at the bigger picture.

📚 Evidence matters. Always check the quality of the research, not just the headline.

✅ Answer: **A**

GET OUT OF YOUR WAY — now streaming 🎬

On Sunday the 24th of May we gathered at New Farm cinemas to watch the screening of Get Our Of Your Way.

Lead by PEAK Founder Matthew Stewart the documentary followed 17 courageous travellers from Kathmandu to Lobuche East at 6119m via Everest Base Camp.

But this film isn't really about the mountain.

It's about the voice in your head that tells you to stop — and what happens when you finally choose not to listen.

Get Out Of Your Way follows the raw, unfiltered story of seventeen ordinary people who walked into one of the world's most extraordinary places and came face to face with themselves. Filmed on the trail by Brisbane filmmaker Benjamin Taylor and produced by Matthew Stewart, this is the follow-up For The Last Time — and it goes even deeper.

This is what an Experience Not Felt Possible - ENFP looks like.

And it starts by getting out of your own way.

Can the coaches guess the Theraband colour?! 👀

We put the coaches to the test to see just how familiar they are with the Therabands they hand out every day… safe to say, there’s still some studying to do 😂
Wait for the end to see who takes out the win 🏆

Thanks to .physio for the inspiration
