Most people believe they have to control the mind.

But the mind becomes difficult only when we forget who we are.

The moment you remember,
"I am a peaceful, powerful soul,"
the mind naturally begins to follow instead of lead.

Every time fear appears...
Every time anger rises...
Every time overthinking begins...

Don't fight the thought.

Simply return to your original identity.

That one remembrance changes the direction of the mind.

Practice this throughout the day. Pause for just a few seconds and remind yourself:

"I am the master. The mind is my instrument."

The more often you remember your Higher Self, the less power the mind has to pull you away from peace.

"We spend our lives trying to look prettier, smarter. But I realized two things. Those who love us see us with their heart... and those who do not want to love us will never be satisfied with all our efforts. I really think it's important to leave our imperfections alone. They are precious to understand those who see us with their heart. We don't need to do anything to be loved." ~Frida Kahlo, artist

Most people spend their lives fighting the mind. They fight distractions, anger, overthinking and cravings. Yet the more they fight, the more the mind resists.

Rajayoga offers a completely different way.

Don't fight the mind. Lead it like a king.

Whenever the mind begins to wander, don't become irritated with it. Pause for one second and gently remind it:

"I am a peaceful soul. I am the master. The mind is my instrumentβ€”not my identity."

The mind doesn't become calm through force. It becomes calm when it remembers who its master is.

Every hour, take just one minute to return to your original awareness. The more often you remember who you are, the more naturally the mind follows your direction.

The soul was always meant to rule with peace, not pressure. The moment you reclaim that inner sovereignty, the mind stops becoming your ruler and quietly becomes your companion.
