Choose one outing, pick a few favourites or join us regularly. No long-term commitment required.

New to the group? Have a chat with us first. We’re happy to explain what the days involve, discuss accessibility and support needs, and talk through transport and costs before you decide.

🚐 Transport to and from home is provided as part of the arranged service.

🏡 INDIVIDUAL SUPPORT, TOO

We also offer 1:1 support at home and in the community, with male and female support workers. This can include everyday routines, appointments, shopping, activities and building independence.

Hi there, my name is Penny!
I am a dedicated disability support worker who is passionate about caring for others and helping people live fulfilling, independent lives. My lived experience gives me genuine empathy, understanding, and patience, and I value building trusting relationships where people feel safe, respected, and heard.

What inspires me, is seeing people find strength on those hard days- yet continue moving toward their goals, even when the obstacles feel big. I’m constantly reminded that courage doesn’t mean life is easy, it means showing up anyway.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my teenage children, being creative, listening to music, and catching up with friends — all of which keep me grounded and inspired in the work I do every day.

We’re a local team working across Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Maitland and Cessnock and we always try to match people with workers they’ll actually get along with.

Had a terrific time yesterday supporting James to attend a training session with Guide Dogs NSW!
