What do the new NDIS prices mean for your plan? 💰

The new NDIS Pricing Schedule started on 1 July 2026, replacing the old Pricing Arrangements and Price Limits document. Support worker rates have gone up in line with the Fair Work Commission wage decision and the increase to superannuation.

Here is the part worth knowing. Your provider cannot just change what they charge you. They have to talk to you first and update your service agreement, and you have to agree before it takes effect.

If a new rate lands in your inbox without a conversation, ask the question 😊

New NDIS rates are here 💰

Every year the NDIS updates its pricing arrangements, and the 2026-27 changes are worth paying attention to. Some things have shifted, and if you are a participant, family member or support coordinator, they affect what your plan actually covers.

We have broken down what has changed and what it means for you.

Good afternoon for it ⚽

Getting out, staying active and spending time with people who get it. That is a big part of what independence looks like day to day.

Getting active isn't a program 🏉

It's a game of touch footy after work with the lads. No structure, no goals sheet, no one writing it down.
Getting out of the house, having a run around, and a bit of a laugh along the way. Good for the body, better for everything else ❤️

Who lives in a Bright Tomorrows home? 🏠

Young men aged 18 to 35, with 24/7 personalised support in a calm, homely environment.

We do one thing and we do it properly. Every home is built around men at a similar stage of life, so housemates have something in common from day one. Shared interests, similar routines, and someone around who gets it.

5 questions to ask any SIL provider 📌

Choosing a home for someone you love is not a decision anyone should be rushing.

These are the questions worth asking before you sign anything.

The first one matters more than it used to. From 1 July 2026, every SIL provider has to be registered with the NDIS Commission, or have applied by 1 October.

Save this for when you need it ❤️

What happens to SIL funding if you go away? 🧳

A holiday or a hospital stay does not change your plan or your funding.

What it can affect is how your provider claims, because SIL is built around a roster of care. A weekend away usually changes nothing. A longer absence, like an extended hospital stay, is handled differently.

The answer sits in your service agreement, and it should be clear enough to understand without a phone call. If it is not, that is worth raising before you book anything ❤️

Plan review coming up? 📋

Walking in unprepared is one of the most common mistakes participants and families make. The meeting is short, and the outcome shapes your funding for the next year or more.

Our practical guide covers what to bring, what to say, and how to give yourself the best possible shot at the plan you need.

Does my SIL provider have to be registered now? ✅

Yes, and this one is new. From 1 July 2026, every provider delivering Supported Independent Living has to be registered with the NDIS Commission, or have applied to register by 1 October 2026.

Your plan does not change. Your funding does not change. But if your provider is not registering, you will need to move to one that is.

Worth asking the question now rather than in September 😊

Bright Tomorrows is a registered NDIS provider.
