Dr. Russell Hough is a fully qualified, registered Osteopath and owner of Newcastle Osteopathy. Russell completed a 5-year double degree in Clinical Science and Osteopathic Science at RMIT in 2001. He has owned and worked in Osteopathic clinics throughout Australia and overseas before opening Newcastle Osteopathy in 2014. Russell has recently moved to Newcastle with his wife and son. He enjoys sur

fing and AFL and spending time with his family. As well as Osteopathy Russell has completed a CHEK Exercise Coaching course and has a keen interest in sports science, health and fitness. Russell firmly believes that people from all ages can benefit from Osteopathic treatment, including children and the elderly. Meshelle is a university qualified Traditional Chinese Medicine practitioner and a registered Acupuncturist. She also holds a Diploma in Chinese Remedial Massage (Tui Na) and a Certificate in Cosmetic Acupuncture. For the two years after graduation she was living and working in China and Taiwan, and her practice leans towards more traditional acupuncture techniques. Meshelle has a particular interest and expertise in Women’s health; fertility, IVF support, pregnancy, menopause and period irregularities. She is also highly skilled in managing musculoskeletal problems, sports injuries, anxiety and depression, and skin disorders. Meshelle aims to help her patients achieve health and therefore, happiness, in all aspects of their lives.

We would like to welcome Teghan to the Newcastle Osteopathy team!

Teghan graduated with Distinction from RMIT University with a double Bachelor of Health Science/Bachelor of Applied Science (Osteopathy).
After Spending four years practicing as an Osteopath in Sydney she has relocated to Newy to embrace the costal lifestyle.

Teghan focuses on health, healing and sustainable injury prevention. She enjoys treating musculoskeletal concerns including pregnancy and post-partum care, headaches, jaw pain, and general mobility issues.

We would like to give a warm welcome to Jesse, our newest member of the Newcastle Osteopathy team.

Jesse is a student osteopath with Russell Hough acting as his mentor as he finalises his studies at RMIT.

We have been receiving excellent feedback from his patients regarding his condition-specific education, treatment techniques and friendly approach. If you would like to book in with Jesse give us a call on 49612161. He is currently available for hour long appointments on Mondays and Wednesday and they are an absolute bargain - $40 for an initial and $30 for a standard.
