If I could go back 20 years, I wouldn’t learn more techniques.
I’d learn to ask better questions.
For years I saw children struggling with attention, coordination, confidence, emotional regulation and learning. Like many chiropractors, I wanted to help, but I didn’t yet have a framework for understanding what I was really seeing.
The turning point came when I stopped focusing solely on symptoms and started looking at neurodevelopment.
How was the child’s nervous system adapting?
How were they processing sensory information?
How had they moved through their developmental milestones?
What pieces of the puzzle was I missing?
The more I learned, the more things began to make sense.
That journey eventually became Switched-on Kids.
This year marks 20 years since the very first seminar, and the program has evolved enormously. But the mission remains the same:
Helping chiropractors better understand children.
Because when we understand the child behind the behaviour, everything changes. Sydney | August 1–2, 2026

I’d love to know—what’s one thing you wish you’d learned earlier about caring for children?
