Tomorrow, Change For Sam will be in the paper again….
Sharing Sam’s story, and what this has grown into since we lost her 💜
We started with 12 devices… and now we’re supporting hundreds of victim-survivors across Victoria with 24/7 monitored safety - and stacks more knowing their loved ones have safety at the touch of a button.

I wish this didn’t need to exist.
But it does. And we’re not stopping 💜

Tomorrow night is the Safe Steps Candlelight Vigil.
Remembering Sam, and all those who have lost their lives to family violence 💜
If you’re not heading to one in person, I’ll be lighting a candle at home at 7pm - and I’d love you to join me.

No pressure, no big thing… just a quiet moment.
If you want to share a photo, you can pop it here on the page. 💜

I’ll also be on ABC Gippsland tomorrow around 8:30am with Mim Hook.
We’ll talk about Sam, and what we’re doing now to help others stay safe.
Feel free to listen in… live radio, so anything could happen 🤪

Sam should still be here.
So this is how I carry her forward.

Together we can make a change 💜💜💜💜

We have a new face working within the Novel Aspects Psychology Clinic! Welcoming Jen 👏
Having completed her Master’s in Educational and Developmental Psychology and endorsed as an Educational and Developmental Psychologist, Jen has been working in private practice since 2022.

Jen loves paddleboarding and jetty jumping 💦

Jen aims to work collaboratively with children, adolescents, families and schools for the best outcomes. Assessments are curated to individual needs and are completed to help develop a sense of identity. These are completed with the understanding that autism, ADHD and other forms of neurodiversity are naturally occuring variations of the human neurotype.

Jen utilises modalities such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (modified for children), Mindfulness, play therapy and creative based therapies. All these are used flexibly and modified to suit the individual needs of the children or adolescents. Rapport, trust, safety and non judgmental curiosity are prioritised 🙏
