🕌 Welcome to the Temple 🕌
Shello beautiful earth angles, it’s Yemaya Luna here back for another rebirth. This last year has been wild in shedding and stepping into my voice. My music. My sound. It’s something I had been avoiding for years because of performance trauma however I am not the same person I was 15 yrs ago. I have grown. I have found my voice.
Being a part of this last almost 2 years has been such an incredible remembering of my ancient song. This community has held each other so deeply through so many upgrades. I am so so so grateful. I was calling in a space with souls like them and I cannot imagine not having this experience. Performing in a group feels so safe. I always did choir and singing in school and to step back into this world through a group container felt so familiar it really helped me to get comfortable again.
Another thing that has been a game changer is singing in sound healing sessions. A few months ago was the first time I had sung solo to a group in over 15 years and wow, it is not scary when people are lying down with their eyes closed hahah lol! I’m just like totally in my own zone not even thinking about anything. Just in a trance. So I’m super excited that I have been drawn to temple music and sound healing as this also feels like a safe space to explore my voice.
It has been so fun to discover my sound and energy that I want to bring to the world. I love to listen to fat groovy dance music but I am someone who needs ‘soul’ in their music. I need vocals, groovy layers, real instruments, nature sounds, drums. I am constantly drawn to tribal and oriental music so be blessed by these sounds as my moonthly zodiac infused liminal journeys are released each month. Some with my own vocals some with traditional folk songs layered over.
Just recently I had a remembering, realising the Priestess path was always something I was destined for. Understanding the link between plants, potions, priestesses, singing, water rituals, mermaids & myrrh-maids awoke something deep and ancient within me. Finally seeing the link between all fractals of my soul has inspired me again so thanks for witnessing this journey
