We're hiring! 💙

Zest are inviting applications for an incredible Support Work Team Leader to join our team.

We are not looking to rush this process - we really want to find the best possible fit for both our team and our clients. We are seeking someone who is passionate, driven, person-centred, neuroaffirming, and trauma-aware. Someone who can thoughtfully balance the needs of both support workers and clients, while having an eye for building the right matches and relationships.

We are a small team with a lot of lived experience, neurodiversity, authenticity, and big hearts - so finding someone who connects with our culture, values, and way of supporting people is incredibly important to us.

Our ideal Support Work Team Leader will:
• Have leadership experience within disability or community services
• Understand trauma-informed and neuroaffirming practice
• Have experience supporting participants with diverse or high support needs
• Confidently lead difficult conversations and support team growth
• Write clear and professional documentation
• Communicate well with families, multidisciplinary teams, and colleagues
• Be reliable, accountable, and emotionally intelligent
• Want to grow professionally and contribute to a strong workplace culture

While we are so sad to see Em go, we are incredibly grateful for everything she has brought to our team, participants and families during her time as Support Work Team Lead.

This month, we’re shining the spotlight on our amazing Alison! 💚

Working hard behind the scenes at Zest as our accounts queen (sometimes lovingly referred to as “The Count” 🧛‍♂️), Alison is an absolute asset to our team. With such a strong knowledge base and background, we honestly don’t know what we’d do without her!

Her knowledge is immeasurable, making her our go-to person for all things accounts and finance. Alison’s dedication, reliability and support help keep everything running smoothly, and we are so grateful for everything she brings to Zest each and every day.

At Zest, counselling can be accessed through your NDIS plan when it aligns with your goals and supports your capacity building needs. Jade takes a compassionate, strengths-based, and person-centred approach, supporting children, adolescents, adults, and families through a wide range of mental health and psychosocial challenges. She works collaboratively with clients to help them better understand their emotions, develop healthy coping skills, strengthen relationships, and navigate life’s transitions in a way that feels empowering and achievable.

If you’re unsure whether counselling is included in your plan, our team is here to help you navigate it and talk through your options, no stress, just support.

✨Happy 1 Year Zestiversary to Meakayla! ✨

When we talk about Meaks, we honestly never know what role title to use because somehow, she does absolutely everything! Team support, problem solving, keeping the chaos under control, resident lifesaver… the list never ends. She’s always the first to jump in and help and somehow manages to do it all with so much care, patience, and kindness.

Outside of being an all-around superstar, Meaks is also our resident K-pop lover, alt fashion baddie, and certified main character energy provider. Whether she’s serving iconic graphics, bringing immaculate vibes, or hyping everyone up, she makes every day brighter just by being herself.

We are so grateful to have you as part of the Zest team and appreciate everything you bring to the people around you every single day. Thank you for an amazing first year with Zest... honestly, we don’t know what we’d do without you

Think cosy farm vibes, fresh air, good company and a proper change of pace in the Adelaide Hills 🤍 No Friday evening activity this time, just time to arrive, settle in and ease into the weekend with some cows.

💰 Full weekend cost:
1:2 ratio – $2710.16
1:1 ratio – $5037.40

In 2026, we’re shining a light on what makes our team truly unique, starting with the people who keep Zest running smoothly behind the scenes.
For April, we’re spotlighting Meakayla, our incredible Administration & Compliance Coordinator 💛
Meakayla is the ultimate all-rounder, supporting the team across administration, compliance, marketing, socials, and office decorator. She’s a reliable, true go-to for the team, and our resident tech wizard, always finding solutions and making things work (most of the time?). With a thoughtful, detail-focused approach and a calm, organised presence, Meakayla plays a huge role behind the scenes, stepping in wherever needed and doing it all with care and pride (and yes, she wrote and posted this herself... shocking).
This monthly series is all about celebrating the staff who help Zest run, often quietly, but so powerfully.

Short Term Respite is planned, short term support that gives participants a shift in routine while still feeling safe and understood.

Funding is usually drawn from Core Supports, and can include support workers, short term accommodation, and meals. But funding is only one piece.

The real difference is in the approach!
