All our programs are delivered by our specialised team, made up of Registered/Enrolled Nurses, Early Parenting Practitioners, Allied Health Professionals, Social Workers, Maternal and Child Health Nurses, Mental Health Clinicians, Midwives, Psychologists, Art Therapists and General Practitioners. Parents and carers often tell us how rewarding it is to see their children’s personalities shine through during their time with us at QEC. If you're passionate about helping children and empowering parents, we'd love to hear from you.

At QEC, our Early Parenting Practitioners work alongside families with children aged 0 to 4, supporting them through sleep and settling challenges, behavioural challenges, and the everyday questions that come with early parenting.

You'll bring either:
✅️ a background in early childhood education or
✅️ a clinical background such as Enrolled Nurse or another relevant professional discipline

No matter your professional background, we provide thorough on-the-job training in evidence-based techniques, so we'll equip you with the knowledge, skills and confidence to thrive in this unique and rewarding role.

We’re excited to announce the next intake of Rainbow PlaySteps is coming up!
This playgroup is designed for LGBTIQA+ parents and carers with children under 4, and is facilitated by a member of the q***r community, creating a safe, inclusive and understanding space for families.

Running 9:30am – 12:30pm each Wednesday at QEC Mundi, Noble Park.

Across the 6 weeks, we explore key early parenting topics including:

The Early Parenting University Short Course is now open for enrolments, delivered by QEC in partnership with Monash University.

Designed for professionals supporting families with children aged 0-4 years, this course strengthens workforce capability in a rapidly growing and increasingly complex area of practice.

It combines evidence-based knowledge with practical, workplace-ready strategies you can apply immediately to support families built their confidence.
You’ll explore:
✔ Infant cues, behaviour, and regulation
✔ Sleep and settling
✔ Early childhood development and play
✔ Family wellbeing and child safety
✔ Strengths-based approaches that build parenting confidence

Delivered through flexible learning options, the course supports professionals to translate evidence into practice and strengthen outcomes for families.
