There comes a point in a woman’s life when she quietly realises something profound:
She has spent years giving her time, her heart, her energy, her softness, yet the world has not always reflected back the value she carries.
Not appreciated.
Not seen.
Not held with the same care she offers so freely.
And for so long, she thought this was normal.
She thought being overlooked meant she needed to try harder. She thought being taken for granted meant she needed to give more. She thought being undervalued meant something was wrong with her.
But slowly – gently - something begins to shift.
She begins to understand that being undervalued is not a reflection of her worth. It reflects the people and situations that were never able to meet her with the value she deserved.
And while that realisation can be deeply painful, it can also become liberating.
Because once a woman finally sees her own value clearly, she can no longer pretend she doesn’t. She can no longer hand her worth to people who never knew how to hold it.
She stops negotiating the parts of herself that were never meant to be compromised. She stops shrinking her light to keep others comfortable. She stops offering her heart to places that treat it as optional.
She starts choosing differently. She starts honouring herself. She starts walking toward the spaces where her presence is cherished, not merely convenient.
If this is you, let this be your reminder today:
You are allowed to outgrow what doesn’t value you.
You are allowed to step away from what doesn’t honour you.
You are allowed to seek the places where your heart is met with softness, respect, and truth.
Your value has never been in question. Only the places you’ve been standing.
Love & Light.
