Today is Apraxia Awareness Day 💙

Apraxia is a motor speech disorder which impacts up to 65% of children with Autism Spectrum Disorder. For many children with apraxia, speaking takes extra planning, practice, and persistence — which is why every sound, word, and sentence is a huge achievement worth celebrating.

Today, we celebrate and spread awareness of Apraxia. Speech therapists can offer intensive support to help those with CAS. For more information of Childhood Apraxia of Speech, head to www.apraxia-kids.org 💙
