Another week of Immersion Therapy at Determined2!

Want to experience it for yourself, or know someone who might?

We’re recruiting for our clinical trial, with eligible participants receiving 16 weeks of fully funded Immersion Therapy at the Adelaide Aquatic Centre.

Adults aged 18–70 living with a serious neurological injury, including brain or spinal cord injury, may be eligible. Your injury doesn’t need to have happened recently.

Our community’s experiences are helping build the research around Immersion Therapy

People spoke about feeling included, equal and empowered, connecting with others, and enjoying the freedom to move underwater

Among surveyed clients, more than 8 in 10 reported improvements in confidence and self-esteem, and in health and wellbeing.

A huge thank you to everyone who shared their experiences, and to the research team for bringing their voices into this publication. 🙌

The 23rd of September is a big day at Determined2 🎉
It's D2's official birthday 🎂 11 years today 😍

It is also World Clinical Exercise Physiology Day 🎂😍

And Ben's birthday 🎂 🥳 the first ever person we supported on this day 11 years ago 🙌

There has been so many changes over the past 11 years but one thing that hasn't and that's our commitment and passion for creating and providing genuine person centered, innovative and co designed programs that get people moving 🤸‍♂️
