We recently welcomed the family and friends of the late Peter Duncan to our Day Oncology service - an opportunity to recognise the generous donation they have made, which has been used to purchase a new ultrasound device to help with patient cannulation.

Many of our Day Oncology patients have difficult intravenous access and this machine will help lessen multiple cannulation attempts, reduce discomfort and anxiety and the risk of complications, ensuring better long-term venous access and a better experience for our patients.

The ultrasound has already been integrated as a vital part of the Day Oncology service - we are grateful for Peter and his family's very generous contribution, supporting the care and treatment of other patients on their cancer journey. 🙏

A NEW CHAPTER | We are excited to announce the soon-to-be reopening of the inpatient ward at Tuggerah Lakes Private Hospital!

This significant milestone will restore overnight inpatient services, improve access to local healthcare, and support the growing needs of the Northern Central Coast community.

Together with the expansion of our infusion and future oncology services, Care is investing to deliver more healthcare services closer to home.

Our Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and Coronary Care Unit (CCU) received a significant technology upgrade this week, with the installation of new patient monitoring systems throughout both units!

Mingaletta is the primary Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community hub based in the Umina and Woy Woy Area of the Central Coast, offering a safe place for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people to be part of a community and celebrate culture.

With your support we were able to raise over $2,500 which will be used to support and empower Aboriginal people.

Our team of over 150 runners and walkers joined 6000+ other competitors making their way along the waterfront from Woy Woy Fishermen's Wharf to Polytec Stadium.🏃‍♂️🏃🏃‍♀️
