Tab is on a mission to find ways to use the OOSHIE surplus for language building and hands-on activities. Check out the super simple idea of freezing these little things into ice cubes and letting the kids rescue them! It kept them busy enough that a hot coffee was able to be enjoyed!
We also love saving them from a claw machine, squishing them into playdoh and taking turns guessing who the mystery imprint is from. Playing hide and seek with them by hiding them around the house or garden can also get you some extra time.

Last week on a school visit, this sweet school therapy dog wouldn't leave my client's side. Lulu was able to calm my client, keep her engaged and created a fun therapy lesson. We asked Lulu if she wore THongs, if she was THirsty, and if it was THursday!
We THink Lulu had a lovely time 💜🤣

We took Speech Pathology Week this year to the next level!

What better way to celebrate our amazing profession than an escape room challenge?!

Clues, communication, problem-solving, teamwork… plenty of laughs along the way and afew screams of terror! 😂

At Early Start, we know that communication is about so much more than words. It’s about connection, collaboration and giving people the opportunity to be heard and understood. 💬 ❤️

So this Speech Pathology Week, we celebrated our incredible team and the difference these wonderful ladies make every single day.

As we come to the end of , a happy fun way to end is to share a story of Esther's client. When she first started seeing Esther, she used to call Speech Therapy "beach fairy" so would tell people she was seeing the 'beach fairy' today!! She can now say Speech Therapy like an absolute pro. Maybe a budding Speech Pathologist in the making 😁
