Sasha is resting and recovering. He promised he’d be a great ‘patient’, and really, he’s been a nearly perfect patient!
Haha!!!
One of the ways he’s been spending time is perfecting his coffee making skills with his new coffee set up.
As his mother and colleague, (and chef, errand person, dog walker, chiropractor and overall extra pair of hands) I witnessed Sasha making me an espresso.
He weighed out the freshly ground coffee and then weighed and timed the coffee as it came out of the machine!
Seriously, amazing coffee!
What l was thinking (didn’t tell him at the time-he’ll read it in this post) is that l witnessed the care and effort he put into making this coffee. In fact he puts great effort into EVERYTHING he does.
It matters to him that this coffee experience is the best it can be!
And it was-for many reasons.
It was his partner, Alex, that unfortunately had to witness the not so great coffees that he first made, as he was getting used to the machine- and the aggravation that came with those failures!
Glad l missed that!
Got to love the Italian top he was wearing-after all, the Calabrese half of him must come out occasionally!!!
Not being able to weight bear on one leg has its challenges, but the new coffee machine has been a delightful distraction!
Happy Sunday everyone!
