Today we celebrated Aged Care Employee Day across our entire facility to express our deepest gratitude to our wonderful staff for their hard work and dedication to our residents every single day.

To mark the special occasion, we treated our amazing team to free coffee from Leanne at the Red Hot Shot coffee van, and a special thanks to her for being available at such short notice!

Our HR team also walked throughout the building handing out appreciation certificates, chocolates, delicious Krispy Kreme donuts, and beautiful thank you cards were made and presented specially by our residents.

A great day was had by all! Thank you to all staff who made this day possible.

With every letter played, there were plenty of smiles, laughter, and friendly competition. Games like Scrabble are a wonderful way to keep our minds active, encourage conversation, and bring everyone together.

Cert 111 in Individual Support (Personal Care Attendant) Traineeship

Cert 3 in Business Administration Trainee / Receptionist

The Organisation:
Moonta Health & Aged Care Services is a Not For Profit 77 bed aged care facility offering NFP Salary Sacrificing options. As a consumer focused organisation, we are seeking a person who shares our philosophy of person centred care for our residents. As a registered employer under the Traineeship and Apprenticeship Scheme MHAACS are now looking to offer a Full Time traineeship in Business Administration Certificate 3.

The Role:
The successful applicant would have strong communication skills, a positive attitude and enthusiasm to to assist where needed.
You will work well within a team but also autonomously. Your professional attitude along with a compassionate nature will be required to work in an Aged Care environment.

Duties will include but not be limited to:
• Business Administration
• Customer Service/Reception
• Provide support where needed

Essential Criteria:
• Experience in Microsoft Office
• Current Police Clearance or NDIS Worker Clearance
• Drivers Licence

Desirable Criteria:
• SACE

As per the traineeship contract, time will be provided for training.

ENVIRONMENTAL ATTENDANT (Cleaner)

The Organisation:

The Role:
The successful applicant will have strong communication skills, a positive attitude and enthusiasm to assist where needed. You will work well within a team but also autonomously. Your professional attitude along with a compassionate nature will be required to work in an Aged Care environment.

Duties will include but not be limited to:
• Restock consumables
• Meeting infection control standards
• Working with Care/Nursing staff to ensure resident needs are met

Essential Criteria:
• Proven experience in cleaning environment
• Current Police Clearance
• Evidence of right to work in Australia

Desirable Criteria:
• Proven experience in Aged Care

This Level 2 Aged Care Award position is for an 18 hour per week permanent part time contract.
Required days are Monday, Thursday and Friday and for sick and annual leave coverage across a 14 day roster.

✨🎄 Christmas in July Celebration 🎄✨

Our residents embraced the festive spirit as we celebrated Christmas in July with a wonderful luncheon filled with delicious food, laughter, and great company.

The celebrations continued with a joyful singalong, where familiar Christmas carols brought smiles, happy memories, and plenty of festive cheer. It was heartwarming to see everyone joining in, singing along, and enjoying the magic of Christmas—no matter the season.
