Children. Choice. Trusted teams. 💛

The NDIS is changing, with the new Thriving Kids system expected to begin rolling out from late 2026 for children under nine with developmental differences or difficulties.

Important decisions about how this system will operate are being made now. Under the current proposal in NSW, private allied health providers may not be included in the same way—potentially limiting families’ choice of therapists and disrupting the trusted relationships children have built with their support teams.

We believe families should be able to:

💛 Choose the therapists who support their child
💛 Continue working with professionals they know and trust
💛 Access timely support within their local community
💛 Build a team that reflects their child’s individual needs

A NSW parliamentary petition is calling for private allied health providers to be included in Thriving Kids, helping to protect family choice and continuity of care.

The petition needs 20,000 signatures to be debated in NSW Parliament. If you are a NSW resident, it takes less than two minutes to sign.

In the Kindred Girls Crew, your daughter will:

🌟 Connect with peers who understand and “get it”
🌟 Step into high school feeling supported and strong

This Easter long weekend, I’ve been on Country—resting, reconnecting, and soaking in the quiet moments that often pass us by.

It’s been a deeply healing time. The past month has brought heavy sorrow, and being held by nature, culture, and family has helped ease some of that weight.

A reminder to slow down, to hold close the things that matter, and to stay present—for both the joy and the grief.

Stepping into the new week with a full heart and a little more peace.
