Christadelphian Aged Care is an experienced aged care provider that has been serving the community for more than 75 years.

As a not-for-profit Christian aged care organisation the health and well-being of our residents is at the heart of everything we do. We cater not only for their physical requirements, but provide specialist care for social, emotional and spiritual needs as well. We offer places for people from all backgrounds and circumstances, and a significant proportion of our beds are fully government-funded for those with no assets. All surplus funds are reinvested back into caring for our residents and facilities. We have four Homes and two Villages across Sydney and Kallangur QLD including:

🍻 Good food, cold beers and even better company! Some of the guys from Courtlands Village enjoyed a lunch outing to the Bella Vista Hotel recently, sharing stories, catching up and having a laugh.

🍌 Bananagrams is a firm favourite with our Ashburn House residents!

Fast-paced and based on skill, the aim is to make words and use up all your letter tiles before the other players. It can get quite competitive, but our residents love a good challenge!

👋🏼 Meet Carlos, who has been a resident of Bluegum at Courtlands since May. Originally from Chile, Carlos will celebrate his 90th birthday later this year.

Sport has always been a big part of Carlos’ life. As a young man, he represented a Chilean national youth football team and also excelled in athletics, competing in the high jump and javelin. His passion for sport continued throughout his life, and later he discovered a love for tennis. He became a regular member of a senior tennis group, enjoying weekly games and the friendships that came with them.

Carlos has always loved music and dancing. He was an avid record collector, and together with his wife, hosted many memorable parties. Family has always been at the centre of Carlos’s life. He proudly supported both of his children in making the move to Australia.

He is a devoted grandfather to his two grandchildren and is also the proud great-grandfather of three beautiful great-granddaughters.

Carlos settled into his new home very quickly, thanks to the warm welcome and genuine care shown by the wonderful staff.

Known for his warm smile and friendly nature, Carlos enjoys meeting people, sharing stories and making the most of every day. His positive outlook on life and welcoming personality make him a valued member of the Blue Gum community. ❤️

🏴‍☠️ Last Thursday was 'Talk Like a Pirate Day' at Maranatha! The residents enjoyed pirate games, drinks and nibblies with a pirate movie hosted by Wellbeing team Niva, Bi and Tammy, and our Year 10 work experience students Eden and Rose.

💛 Maranatha marked R U OK? Day with a lunch last week to encourage everyone to check in with those around us.

Research shows 1 in 4 people might hesitate to ask even when they think someone is struggling. R U OK? Day is about reminding everyone that if someone's on your mind, trust your instinct and start a conversation.

The majority of those asked report feeling grateful, cared about, and supported. ❤️

🚗✨ The Courtlands Independent Living and Aged Care communities came together last week to celebrated Father’s Day with a Classic Cars Show!

Thanks to our bus driver Peter for organising this with the MG Restorers Club and the FB Holden Club.

There was live entertainment, sausage sizzle, donuts, and plenty of ice cream to share with everyone.
