Each week our team of Occupational Therapists participate in clinical group mentoring which is facilitated by senior clinicians covering areas such as Paediatrics, Mental Health, Assistive Technology and Home Modifications. This week we were lucky enough to have our own OT Tuan Nguyen step in to cover access ramps!

It was fantastic to see our team work together and problem solve through case scenarios while focusing on individual needs and environmental barriers.

🎓 Celebrating the Success of Our Graduates! 🎉

We are thrilled to announce the completion of the three-month orientation program for our talented graduate Speech Pathologists and Occupational Therapists! It has been an incredible journey of growth, learning, and professional development for these exceptional individuals, and we couldn't be prouder of their achievements.

Throughout the program, our graduates have had the benefit of working closely with our dedicated Graduate Program Officer, Meg, who provided mentorship paired with formal presentations and group discussions based on her own experience as a graduate last year. She will be available for any additional support the graduates will require for the entirety of their first year of study.

Please join us in congratulating our graduates on this significant achievement! We wish them continued success as they continue to inspire and shape the future of our company and beyond.

Welcome to our two speech pathology students from La Trobe, Tom and Eliza who will be with us for the next 7 weeks.

We are thrilled to get the opportunity to show students what it is like to work within the NDIS community sector.

Our Graduate Program Officer provides small group support to all our graduates, every week.

Having dedicated support for new graduate speech pathologists and occupational therapists starting their career with Tashacare helps us achieve the best for our employees and our clients while maintaining our supportive culture.

Week two of our graduate orientation sessions was all about the supports available to our new graduates and how they can make the most of them.

Tashacare offers all staff one hour weekly of 1:1 supervision with experienced team leaders and one hour of weekly group clinical support from external industry experts.

The Graduate Program Officer provides specific support for new graduates including implementing 12-weeks of orientation, providing answers to procedural questions, and creating an encouraging group environment.

It's so important to us to provide continuous support and education to our new graduates that extends far beyond their first week with us.

Today kicked off day one of our graduate orientation sessions with our amazing group of occupational therapists and speech pathologists who have started their careers with Tashacare over the last two months.

These sessions are are all about building professional, clinical and procedural confidence and run by our Graduate Program Officer (last year - a graduate herself). The aim is to build skills and confidence around Tashacare and NDIS processes to help our new graduates achieve the best outcomes for themselves and their clients while easing the transition into full-time work.
