Have you called our confidential, anonymous 24/7 telephone advice line for doctors and medical students?

Would you be interested in providing your perspective on how well the service works and for whom?

Researchers from Macquarie University have been commissioned by Drs4Drs to conduct an independent evaluation of the Drs4Drs service and the Doctors’ Health Services in each state and territory. The aim is to understand how well these services meet the needs of doctors and medical students and to identify any areas for improvement.

The research team at Macquarie University is seeking two people (either doctors or medical students) to join the Project Steering Committee.

What does this involve?
◾ Approximately 6 hours total of your time between September 2026 and February 2027. This includes attending 3 online meetings and up to one hour of pre-reading materials before each meeting.
◾ Learning more about the health support services that exist for doctors and medical students across Australia
◾ Sharing your perspectives on how to improve these service to help guide the research

As a thank you for your time, you will be compensated at the NSW Health Consumer rate for the Steering Committee meetings.

If you are interested, please contact Olivia Hillan: [email protected] to learn more about this opportunity.

A single doctor can care for thousands of patients over their career - the impact of supporting them reaches deep into our communities.

When doctors have access to confidential healthcare, Telehealth support, after-hours care and trusted advice, they are better equipped to care for us.

That's why Doctors' Health NT exists.

Before June 30, your donation helps expand access to care for doctors and medical students across SA and the NT.
