Our new graduate OTs had a fantastic time representing our team at the University of Adelaide Careers Day, chatting with final-year OT students about life as a graduate Occupational Therapist and sharing their experiences in our New Graduate Program.

It was great to meet so many passionate future OTs, answer questions, and provide insight into the transition from University to clinical practice. We wish everyone the very best for their final year and look forward to seeing you in the profession soon! 🩵

What a beautiful way to honour her valued contribution

The family of a "very passionate speech therapist" who died protecting children from a runaway truck, has set up a memorial fund in her name.

Eleanor Bryant's family are funding allied health students who wish to work in rural communities.

Her husband says the fund "aims to help bridge the gap between the skills that were afforded to allied health and speech therapists in city areas that aren't provided in rural areas."

The Eleanor Bryant Memorial Fund will also hold a Bush Summit later this year, bringing together parents, carers, educators and allied health staff to help find a way to bring more services to the country.
