Our Heart in their Hand keepsake is offered to families during viewings as a gentle way to feel connected to their loved one.

The smaller heart can be placed with your loved one, while the matching heart keyring stays with you. Two hearts that belong together, creating a beautiful reminder that a part of them will always remain close.

There is no charge for this. It is simply our gift to the families we have the privilege of caring for.

Being family owned means something very special to us at Gift of Grace Funerals.

Our team hasn’t simply been built through interviews and filling positions. Every member of our team was already a friend or school Mum and has been personally chosen for the individual skills, qualities and experience they bring to Gift of Grace.

Some bring years of events experience, others incredible organisation, creativity, compassion, or simply a natural ability to make people feel comfortable during the most difficult of times. We each bring something different, but we all share the same values and a genuine desire to care for families.

We know one another. We trust one another. And we genuinely enjoy working alongside one another.

There’s no big corporate structure behind us, just a close-knit team of real people who care deeply about what they do.

While it might seem like a throwaway comment, it’s actually one of the most important conversations you can have with your loved ones.

This Dying to Know Day, take a few minutes to share your funeral wishes with your family. It doesn’t have to be a detailed plan. Even letting them know whether you’d prefer to be buried or cremated is a great place to start.

Bereaved Parents Awareness Month 💗

There is no greater heartbreak than saying goodbye to a child.

For bereaved parents, grief doesn’t end after the funeral.It doesn’t disappear with time, and it doesn’t follow a timeline. It becomes a lifelong journey of learning to carry both unimaginable love and unimaginable loss.

This July, we paused to acknowledge every Mother, Father, Grandparent and family member whose child is deeply loved and profoundly missed.

If you know someone who has experienced the loss of a child, remember that the smallest acts of kindness can mean the world. Speak their child’s name.

Share a memory. Sit with them. Let them know they are not alone.
