✨ POSTPARTUM PURPOSE ✨

We often get asked why we created The Golden Month

Working in the fertility & pregnancy world, we often support women for a year, sometimes two or three years.

So then when our clients have their babies, it didn’t feel right leaving them alone to navigate those first few weeks of motherhood.

For both of us, the postnatal period was harder than pregnancy & labour, yet that is where so many focus their energy, forgetting the fourth trimester or thinking “I’ll deal with that as it comes”.

So many of our Golden Month Mothers have also said the same & so grateful that they invested in their health & healing.

The Golden Month isn’t about rocking up with a few soups & doing some dishes; we look at the whole woman & her healing journey from a very traditional way & making it accessible for the Modern mother.

Acupuncture in the first few weeks has been proven to help women with breastfeeding outcomes, postpartum depression & anxiety. It also helps mothers & babies digestion.

Postnatal abdominal massage & belly binding promotes healing of the reproductive organs, plus physical & emotional healing.

Our meals are nutritionist approved & packed with TCM & Ayurvedic herbs. Our co-founder is a doctor Traditional Chinese Medicine & herbalist, so each sip & bite is healing on a cellular level. Promoting Qi & blood plus breast milk production.

All these things allow a smoother transition into motherhood & these ‘whys’ underpin all that we do within The Golden Month.

We are trying to change the mould, for you, your daughters & our daughters. Because the postpartum period is a rite of passage & you will always remember how you were cared for during this time.
