What I found most interesting was the question about feeling cold, which when adults ask is “loaded” with many factors, however is ‘read’ by the child as relating to this very minute.
Worth reading!

When you say ‘but aren’t you cold?’ what are you really asking? Kids will answer how they feel now; parents are planning ahead.
