π 39 legends. One course. A sea of maroon. π
What a fantastic way to celebrate Queensland Day at Oakey parkrun!
This morning, 39 parkrunners, walkers and volunteers came together to turn our little corner of Queensland into a sea of maroon. Whether you were chasing a PB, enjoying a walk with friends, volunteering, or simply soaking up the atmosphere, it was another great reminder of what makes our community so special.
π A big welcome to our visitors who joined us this morning. We hope you enjoyed your time at Oakey and weβd love to see you back again soon!
π₯ Congratulations to todayβs PB achievers:
β’ Scott Hess β 23:53
β’ Travis Peters β 27:05
β’ Andrew Webb β 31:05
β’ Karina Barron β 32:49
β’ Olivia Grant β 39:16
β’ Bec Ross β 39:17
As always, the real win is getting out there and having a go. Every run, walk, volunteer shift and cheer from the sidelines helps make Oakey parkrun what it is.
π A huge thank you to our volunteers:
β’ Curt Batterham
β’ Jessica McKay
β’ Ken Cahill
β’ Valma Cahill
β’ Irene Weston
β’ Amy Gamble
β’ Faith McKay
You make parkrun possible.
