Madeline Logiacco from GMC Cosmedical shared her experience using Photo Booster GD Tone-Up and Simfle Stick 119.

“Both products are simple to use, cost-effective, and have genuinely improved the results achieved with every treatment.”

GD Tone-Up targets pigmentation. Simfle Stick 119 brings redness to the surface so the laser can hit telangiectasia more precisely. Used prior to laser, these PhotoBoosters help elevate outcomes and give clinics more treatment options to offer clients.

Do you know how to estimate the number of sessions needed for tattoo removal?

A prediction tool such as the Kirby-Desai Scale can help assess the likely number of treatments required by considering factors such as:

· Skin type (I–VI)
· Tattoo location
· Amount of ink
· Amateur vs professional tattoos
· Ink layering
· Scarring and tissue changes
· Ink colours used

Explore the scale here: https://bit.ly/3GAbBEo

On average, tattoo removal may require 6 to 12 sessions, usually spaced 6 to 12 weeks apart.

With Fotona’s FracTAT® method, the number of required sessions may be reduced by up to 40% compared with standard Kirby-Desai Scale estimates.

FracTAT® tattoo removal is available with Fotona systems, including StarWalker® MaQX Pro and StarWalker® PICO Pro.

Unlike conventional tattoo removal protocols, FracTAT® uses a two-step approach designed to improve treatment efficiency.

𝐒𝐭𝐞𝐩 𝟏 – 𝐒𝐤𝐢𝐧 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧
Microscopic channels are created around the tattoo pigment. These channels help release gas and pressure generated during the laser treatment while helping preserve the surrounding skin structure.

𝐒𝐭𝐞𝐩 𝟐 – 𝐈𝐧𝐤 𝐅𝐫𝐚𝐠𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧
Q-switched laser pulses are then delivered to the treatment area. The tattoo pigment absorbs the laser energy, creating photoacoustic waves that break the ink into smaller particles.

Over time, these fragmented particles are naturally cleared by the body's immune system.
