We all rely on training providers and government-funded programs to support the development of a skilled and capable workforce.

These systems depend on accurate, complete, and verifiable information from all parties involved, including employers, training participants, and registered training organisations.

Where information relating to employment arrangements, workplace placement, or organisational involvement is inaccurate, incomplete, or used without proper authorisation, it may create serious compliance concerns under relevant training and funding frameworks, including those overseen by ASQA and other regulatory bodies.

For businesses, the consequences of such issues can be significant.

They may include time-consuming administrative processes, requests for evidence, audit activity, corrections to records, and disruption to normal operations while matters are reviewed and resolved.

Maintaining accurate records and ensuring all training and employment-related arrangements are legitimate and properly documented is essential to protecting the integrity of government-funded training and reducing unnecessary compliance risk.

Where concerns or discrepancies are identified, they should be documented and raised through the appropriate formal channels, including the relevant training provider and, where applicable, ASQA.

Strong systems of integrity, verification, and accountability are essential to maintaining confidence in training pathways and ensuring public funding is used appropriately and transparently.

The NDIS was created to support Australians living with genuine disability-related needs and to provide person-centred services that improve quality of life, independence, and community participation.

Protecting the integrity of the NDIS is everyone's responsibility.

If you witness conduct that appears inappropriate, unethical, or potentially fraudulent, don't ignore it.

Document factual information, keep accurate records, and report your concerns through the appropriate channels, including the NDIA, NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission, relevant government agencies, ombudsman services, your local Member of Parliament, or other appropriate authorities.

The future of the NDIS depends on accountability, transparency, and ensuring funding reaches the people it was intended to support.

Fraud, misuse, and exploitation don't just affect government budgets—they impact participants, families, support workers, and service providers who are doing the right thing every day.

As communities, we should remain informed, ask reasonable questions, and support proper oversight.

Genuine participants deserve genuine support, quality services, and providers who place people before profit.

The NDIS is not about buildings, vehicles, business growth, or personal gain. It is about people.

By speaking up through the proper channels when concerns arise, we can all help protect the future of the scheme for the Australians who rely on it now and for generations to come.
