Orange Physiotherapy & Sports Injury Clinic is looking for a physiotherapist to join our team!
We’re looking for an energetic, personable and motivated physiotherapist with great communication skills to become part of our established and friendly team in Orange, NSW.
Ideally, we’re looking for a physiotherapist with some clinical experience who is confident working independently and managing their own caseload. However, we are very happy to hear from new graduates who are enthusiastic, keen to learn and looking to develop their skills in a supportive environment.
About us
We are a well-established musculoskeletal and sports injury practice, operating in Orange since 2012. Our caseload is predominantly private, Workers Compensation, NDIS and DVA, providing plenty of variety in both patient presentations and clinical experience.
Our treatment approach includes:
• Exercise prescription and rehabilitation
• Manual therapy
• Sports injury management
• Dry needling
• Post-operative rehabilitation
• Work-related injury management
• Functional assessments

On the weekend, this author joined another 28,600 people to compete in HYROX in Sydney. To answer a few of the questions following the event that people have thrown at me…
Was it hard? Yes.
Did I wear a shirt? Yes.
Will you do another one? Yes.
Am I an influencer now? No.

If you’ve spent the last few months training with more precision and focus on loading, calorie intake and race strategies than a fulltime professional, and if you’ve pulled up a little ginger like this author (right calf, proper old man), let us know.

CHAMPION OF MEN’S HEALTH - HARRY FARDELL

Well-known and highly respected local physio Harry Fardell from Orange Physiotherapy has been professionally supporting sporting teams for many years. These include the NSW Rugby 7s, NSW Schools Rugby, Australian Schoolboys Rugby Barbarians, Phillipines Women’s Rugby 7s, Orange Emus Rugby Club and the Kinross Wolaroi Rugby Club.

Harry volunteered his time over the long-weekend to prepare the armwrestling participants at the Gettin-a-Grip 2026 Men’s Health Week launch event, which I hosted at the Orange Ex-Services' Club.

A huge thank you to Harry for his support for this great cause. Harry’s expert oversight of the athletes warm-up helped to ensure the event’s success, which concluded without any injuries.

On Saturday I had the pleasure of attending Getting a Grip, a fantastic event hosted by
The day featured arm wrestling matches between a range of local personalities and well-known figures from across the state, alongside a series of insightful presentations covering important men's health topics.
Our role was to assist competitors with muscle activation and preparation before each arm wrestle. While it was great to be involved in the physical side of the event, it was the speakers who truly made the day memorable. In particular, Barry Du Bois shared his personal journey with cancer and depression with remarkable honesty and courage, leaving a lasting impression on everyone in attendance.
A huge thank you to Phil Donato and Brett Cooke for organising such a meaningful and successful event. It was an honour to be part of a day that promoted awareness, connection, and conversations around men's health.

We’ve been incredibly proud sponsors and supporters of Emus Rugby Club Ltd since our practice first opened back in October 2012. During that time, the Emus first-grade side has featured in every 1st Grade final (no coincidence that this author stopped playing in 2012 🧐), while the club has celebrated countless premierships and successes across almost every grade (sorry Colts!!!).

Although we’ve had to step back from providing Saturday first aid support to the senior club in 2026, we remain proud supporters of the club as a whole — especially the juniors.

Once again, we’re proud to be shorts sponsors for the fantastic Emus Juniors club, which has become a genuine factory for developing not only talented rugby players, but also great kids, lifelong friendships, and unforgettable memories.
