πŸ’ͺ Grip strength showdown!

Think you’ve got a strong grip? Our physios decided to put it to the test! πŸ˜‚

Grip strength testing is a quick and simple way to measure hand and forearm strength β€” and it can be a great way to track progress over time.

Now the important question… who won? πŸ‘€

19/08/2026

πŸ’ͺ Acute shoulder pain? Keep it moving!

When your shoulder is sore, completely resting it isn’t always the answer.

These gentle exercises can help maintain movement, gradually build confidence, and keep the shoulder moving without unnecessarily aggravating your symptoms.

πŸ‘‰ Start gently and work within a comfortable range.
πŸ‘‰ Gradually increase movement as your symptoms settle.
πŸ‘‰ If pain is persistent, severe, or not improving, get assessed by a physiotherapist.

Remember: the right exercises depend on what’s causing your shoulder pain.

Just had your BPPV treated? πŸŒ€

It’s normal to feel a little dizzy or unsteady immediately afterwards, but in most cases, you don’t need to avoid movement or stay still.

βœ… Keep moving
🚢 Take your time if you feel unsteady
πŸ‘€ Gradually return to normal head movements
πŸ›οΈ Follow your physio’s advice around sleeping positions
πŸ”„ Get reassessed if your spinning symptoms return

The goal isn’t to avoid movement β€” it’s to get you moving confidently again. πŸ’ͺ

Ever felt like the room was spinning for no reason? πŸŒ€ You're not imagining it β€” and you're definitely not alone.

Vertigo and dizziness aren't a single condition, they're a symptom with several possible causes. Swipe through to learn about 3 of the most common culprits behind vestibular disorders β€” from tiny crystals in your inner ear (yes, really) to fluid imbalances that throw off your whole sense of balance.

The good news? Most vestibular issues are diagnosable and treatable once you know what's actually going on. If dizziness or vertigo has been a recurring thing for you, it's worth getting checked out rather than just waiting for it to pass.

When you have a vestibular disorder, it can be tempting to avoid anything that makes you feel dizzy πŸ˜΅β€πŸ’«

But avoiding movement, sitting in dark rooms and spending hours doom scrolling can sometimes make symptoms worse over time.

Your brain and vestibular system need appropriate exposure to movement, visual information and everyday activities to help improve your tolerance.

That doesn't mean you should push through severe symptoms or ignore your body's warning signs. Vestibular rehabilitation is about finding the right level of challenge and gradually progressing from there.

If dizziness, vertigo or balance problems are affecting your daily life, vestibular rehabilitation may be able to help πŸ‘€πŸ§

05/08/2026

Dizziness and balance problems can be frustrating β€” but your vestibular system can be trained πŸ§ πŸ‘€

Vestibular rehabilitation uses targeted exercises to help your brain and body better process movement, visual information and balance signals.

Whether you're experiencing vertigo, motion sensitivity, visual dizziness or balance issues, the right exercises can help you move with more confidence.

Feeling dizzy? It might be time to see a physio πŸ‘‹
