INTRODUCING MADDI

Maddi is a dedicated Disability Support Worker and valued member of our team, providing support to participants with complex psychosocial and medical care needs. Known for her kind and gentle nature, Maddi is passionate about creating meaningful connections and empowering people to work towards their goals. She approaches every interaction with compassion, patience, and understanding, ensuring participants feel respected, supported, and valued.

Alongside her support work, Maddi provides office administration support, assisting with staff and participant communication, onboarding, and helping strengthen social connections within the community. Her dedication, strong communication skills, and commitment to helping others allow her to build genuine relationships and create a welcoming environment for both participants and colleagues.

Maddi brings a diverse professional background, with experience in management and customer service roles, where she developed strong leadership, organisation, and problem-solving skills. She has completed a Certificate IV in Youth Work and a Diploma of Nursing, providing her with valuable knowledge and experience to support individuals with a range of needs while maintaining a person-centred approach.

Known for her courageous and strong-willed nature, Maddi is committed to advocating for the people she supports and approaching challenges with resilience and determination. Outside of work, she enjoys getting lost in a good book, watching crime documentaries and shows, and spending quality time with family and friends. Maddi is passionate about making a positive difference in the lives of others and feels privileged to be part of a team that supports people to live meaningful, connected, and empowered lives.

INTRODUCING ALI

Ali is one of our Directors and a dedicated Disability Support Worker with a genuine passion for making a positive difference in the lives of others. Before co-founding Charlie’s in 2021, Ali had the opportunity to work alongside NDIS participants, an experience that ignited her passion for the disability sector and inspired her to create a service that people could truly rely on. Together with her family, she helped build Charlie’s with a vision of delivering compassionate, person-centred support where every participant feels valued, respected, and empowered.

As a Disability Support Worker, Ali has extensive experience supporting children, adolescents, and adults with high-needs and complex support requirements. She is committed to delivering compassionate, person-centred care, working alongside participants to implement goal-based supports that promote independence, confidence, and meaningful outcomes. Her energetic, bubbly, and fun-loving personality helps her build strong, trusting relationships, while her dedication and passion shine through in everything she does.

Before entering the disability sector, Ali gained valuable experience in customer service, house cleaning, and car detailing. These roles helped her develop exceptional attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to providing high-quality service. She also has experience supporting social and community connections, helping participants build confidence and engage with the people and activities that matter most to them.

Outside of work, Ali enjoys going to the gym, watching movies, spending quality time with her family and partner, and playing with her dog. She believes that kindness, laughter, and genuine connection are at the heart of great support and feels privileged to be part of a team that empowers people to achieve their goals and live fulfilling lives.

INTRODUCING ANNA

Anna is one of our Directors and a dedicated Disability Support Worker who has been instrumental in building our family-run organisation since 2021. Prior to starting Charlie’s, Anna worked closely with NDIS participants and witnessed firsthand the difference that genuine, reliable support could make in people’s lives. That experience fuelled her passion for the disability sector and inspired her to help create a service built on trust, compassion, and a commitment to putting participants first.

As a Disability Support Worker, Anna specialises in supporting adults with complex psychosocial support needs. She is passionate about delivering person-centred, goal-based support that empowers participants to build confidence, develop independence, and achieve meaningful outcomes. Her energetic, bubbly, and uplifting personality allows her to form strong, genuine connections, while her dedication and determination ensure every participant receives compassionate, high-quality care.

Before entering the disability sector, Anna built a strong background in customer service and sales, where she developed exceptional communication skills and a genuine passion for helping people. She also gained valuable experience in house cleaning, fostering a keen eye for detail and high standards in everything she does. Alongside her support work, Anna has played a key role in onboarding participants and fostering social connections within the community, ensuring every individual feels welcomed, supported, and valued from the very beginning of their journey.

Outside of work, Anna enjoys watching movies and documentaries, spending time with her family, and making memories with her two dogs. She believes in leading with kindness, encouragement, and authenticity, and is passionate about empowering others to recognise their strengths and live life to the fullest.
