There are some things you only learn after years of looking after people. 🤍
You learn that the story matters.
That kids need to trust you before they’ll let you anywhere near them.
That sometimes people need an explanation more than they need another complicated answer.
That remembering someone’s name, their kids, their sport, their holiday — or what was happening in their life the last time you saw them — matters.
And that being someone’s chiropractor is actually a pretty big privilege.
Over the years at Nervana, we’ve had the opportunity to care for so many people from Palmyra and our surrounding community.
We’ve watched babies become kids.
Kids become teenagers.
We’ve seen new parents finding their feet, families moving through different seasons, and plenty of familiar faces walking back through our doors.
And that’s probably the biggest thing we’ve learned:
A great practice isn’t just built on what happens in the adjusting room.
It’s built on trust, connection, listening, good communication and genuinely caring about the human in front of you.
So these are 8 things Palmyra has taught us about being a local chiropractic practice.
And we’re very grateful we get to keep learning. 🤍
