📢 A MESSAGE TO OUR PATIENTS

Due to the recent closure & changes at several local medical practices, we are currently experiencing a significant increase in new patients and demand for appointments. This has also coincided with periods of GP leave, resulting in longer than usual waiting times for appointments at our practice.

We understand that waiting can be frustrating, and we genuinely appreciate your patience and understanding during this particularly busy period.

We kindly ask that you please:

🗓️ Book appointments in advance wherever possible, particularly routine or non urgent matters.

☎️ Let our reception team know when booking if you have multiple or complex issues to discuss, so we can allocate appropriate time.

🙏 Please be patient with our reception & clinical staff — we are working really hard to accommodate the increased number of patients requiring care & keeping things running as smoothly as possible.

🚨PAMBULA MEDICAL CENTRE WELCOMES DR DAN BINKS FROM MONDAY 10TH AUG🚨

Originally from Western Australia, Dan relocated to the Sapphire Coast to complete his rural general practice training. Dan has gained broad clinical experience across emergency medicine, general medicine, surgery, and critical care in hospital networks throughout Western Australia, Queensland, Tasmania, the Northern Territory, and regional New South Wales.

In addition to his time at Pambula Medical Centre, he also works in the emergency department at Bega Health Campus. Dan has a keen interest in procedural general practice, acute medicine, and anaesthetics.

🩺 DAN IS OPEN TO NEW PATIENTS & WILL BE WORKING MON - WED COMMENCING THE 10TH AUGUST 2026.

🔔WELCOMING A NEW GP TO PMC!🔔

We are very happy to announce that we have a new male GP commencing with us from TUES 14TH JULY 2026.

Dr Alex Romain is from London where he graduated from King's College in 2012. He works primarily as a men's health GP with men and boys over the age of 16 years and is chair of the Royal Australian College of GP's Men's Health Specific Interest Group.

Alex has an interest in chronic care management and planning for conditions like diabetes, heart disease, high blood pressure, gout, fatty liver, cancer and weight loss. After working in NZ for eight years, where he enjoyed hiking and great wine, Alex moved to Australia in 2024 for more of the same.

🗓️ Currently Dr Romain is opening his books to all male patients over the age of 16 years & also women over 70 years of age only. He will be working with us TUESDAY to FRIDAY.

This permanent/part-time role includes:

⭐️ Chronic Disease Management & Health Assessments
⭐️ High level of Organisational skills and ability to work in a changing environment
⭐️ Current AHPRA registration is essential
