Program Supervisor

Simone has been employed by ABA Kids for 7 years now. She holds a Bachelor of Health Sciences from La Trobe University and a Master of Education in Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) from Griffith University.

With more than eight years of experience in the field of Applied Behaviour Analysis, Simone has worked with children and adolescents aged 3 to 16 years across home, school, clinic, and community settings. Beginning her career as an ABA therapist, she has progressed to the role of Program Supervisor, where she designs, oversees, and continually refines individualised, evidence-based intervention programs that empower children to achieve meaningful and lasting outcomes.

Simone is deeply committed to helping every child reach their full potential. She is passionate about fostering communication, independence, confidence, and everyday life skills through compassionate, family-centred care. Simone values building strong collaborative partnerships with families, educators, and allied health professionals to ensure therapy is tailored to each child's unique strengths, goals, and needs.

Outside of her professional role, Simone enjoys spending quality time with her family, friends, and her beloved pets. She has a strong passion for sustainability, human and animal welfare, and enjoys travelling, dancing, and exploring the outdoors

Next, I am thrilled to introduce Amisha!

Behaviour Therapist

Amisha is a Behaviour Therapist at ABA Kids and holds a Bachelor of Psychological Studies. She is currently completing her Honors in Psychology and she is very passionate about supporting children and young people to develop their communication, social, emotional-regulation and daily-living skills.

Amisha uses a warm, patient and individualised approach, taking the time to understand each child’s unique strengths, interests and support needs. She enjoys building trusting relationships with children and collaborating with families and the wider clinical team to encourage meaningful progress.

Amisha's number 1 goal is to create positive and engaging sessions where children feel safe, supported and motivated to learn.

Behaviour Therapist

Hakim holds a Bachelor of Psychological Science from UNSW Sydney and is currently pursuing his Masters in Applied Behaviour Analysis at Monash University. He is also working toward becoming a Certified Behaviour Analyst with ABAA Australia. Prior to commencing work at ABA Kids, Hakim practiced Behaviour Therapy in an early intervention clinic, where he focused on driving progress within the early learners program.

Hakim is passionate about inclusive education and using practical, ethical strategies to help diverse learners succeed. He brings vibrant energy and genuine enthusiasm to every session, believing that progress thrives in a supportive community. He is deeply committed to creating a safe, nurturing environment where every child feels secure enough to explore, learn, and grow.

Beyond his professional and academic pursuits, Hakim loves running and soaking up the sun at the beach whenever he can. He also enjoys planning his next travel adventure with family and friends.

Behaviour Therapist

Trixie began working with ABA Kids in 2026 and holds a Masters Degree in Applied Behaviour Analysis from Monash University as well as a Graduate Diploma in Psychology and Bachelor of Science from The University of Melbourne. She’s passionate in the studies of behavioural sciences and developmental psychology and believes that given the right opportunities and appropriate support, every child is capable of meaningful growth and thrive in their learning journey.

Trixie has experience in working one-on-one with children to implement evidence-based ABA programs to promote communication, social play and daily living skills. She strives to build a strong positive rapport with each child, and create a supportive environment where children feel safe, confident and motivated to learn. Her favourite part of being a behaviour therapist is celebrating every child’s achievements, whether they are big or small, and watching their confidence grow over time.

Outside of work, Trixie enjoys staying active through dance fitness, exploring Melbourne’s latest cafes and restaurants or enjoying a cozy Disney or Studio Ghibli movie!

This is long overdue, please meet Sharon!!

Staff Manager & Administrator

Sharon holds a Bachelor of Biomedical Science, majoring in Immunology, and a Graduate Diploma of Psychology. She is currently expecting to complete her Bachelor of Psychology (Honours) in Oct 2026 and aspires to become a Clinical Psychologist.

Prior to joining ABA Kids, Sharon worked as an Early Start Denver Model (ESDM) therapist and has since developed extensive experience delivering ABA programs across home, school, and community settings.

Sharon is passionate about translating behavioural science into practical, meaningful strategies that can be embedded into a child's everyday life. Her approach focuses on fostering functional independence, meaningful communication, and skills that improve the quality of life for both children and their families.

As Staff Manager, Sharon is also committed to supporting and mentoring the therapy team, fostering a positive workplace culture, and ensuring high-quality, compassionate care for every family.

In her spare time, Sharon enjoys reading, baking, and travelling to remote destinations where she can completely switch off and enjoy nature.

Tia has completed a Bachelor of Psychological Science at Deakin University and is currently completing her Graduate Diploma of Psychology (Advanced).

Tia is passionate about working with children of all ages and creating inclusive, supportive environments where each child feels valued and understood. She recognises their unique strengths and believes that, through fun and engaging learning experiences, children can build confidence, develop meaningful skills, and reach their full potential.

Introducing Aradhana!!

Behaviour Therapist

Aradhana holds a Master’s degree in Psychology from India and is currently pursuing a Graduate Diploma in Applied Behavior Analysis at Griffith University. She is passionate about supporting children with diverse needs and helping them develop the skills and confidence to thrive in their everyday lives.

With a warm, patient, and compassionate approach, Aradhana enjoys creating engaging and meaningful learning experiences that are tailored to each child’s unique strengths, interests, and goals. She values building strong relationships with children and their families and believes that positive connections are the foundation for successful learning.

Alongside her psychology background, Aradhana is also completing a Diploma certification in Bharatanatyam, a classical Indian dance form, and enjoys teaching dance to children and adults. Outside of work, she loves travelling, creating doodle art, and exploring creative ways to combine movement, art, and learning into everyday life.
