Asthma management is not just about relieving symptoms. It is also about treating the underlying inflammation.

The updated Australian Asthma Handbook recommends against SABA-only treatment for adults and adolescents. Anti-inflammatory reliever therapy is now the recommended starting treatment.

If you are relying on a blue puffer or using it often, speak with your healthcare professional about less SABA and more AIR.

Do not change your asthma medicines without first speaking with your doctor or pharmacist.

Out and about in our community 💉💞

Recently, Parkes Pharmacy pharmacists had the pleasure of visiting one of our local nursing homes to provide on-site vaccination clinic.

We love being able to take our pharmacy services beyond the 4 walls of our pharmacy, supporting and caring for our community by making healthcare more accesible.

Thank you to the wonderful staff and residents for having us!
