On Monday 27 July at 2:00pm, a new national emergency alert system will be tested. Every mobile device in range, including smartphones, smartwatches and tablets, will vibrate and sound a loud siren for 10 seconds. This will occur even if your device is on silent, do not disturb, or has no SIM card.
