Sad news.

Gordon White has made his departure.

Gordon's newsletter went out with the announcement of his passing while traveling in Peru.
Creator of the Runesoup website/blog/podcast as well as author of numerous books, an undeniable influence on magick in the digital age, who dedicated himself to bringing a wide range of ideas, from a kind of new animism to permaculture, to the masses. Not a figure without controversy but Occultism is a sadder place for his passing.

Folklore to Fringe - Modern ‘Witchcraft Today’
Not the “ancient unbroken line tradition” but possibly a more realistic narrative. Where did modern pagan witchcraft actually come from, and how did it get to Australia?
This free 60-min talk covers a bit of the history, the characters who shaped it, and the Australian context along the way. We’ll also explore a bit about how exciting it is that social media is influencing the craft in real time. Free. Limited seats.

Samhain. I spent tonight with our community of souls, engaged in ritual, feasting, talking, being present in the moment, which means barely any pics taken on my phone.

We had an ancestral altar, however we did not photograph that out of respect for our beloved dead. Maybe you snapped the other decorations? The feasting table? Yourself or friends? Feel free to share if you have their permission & tag us.
