A look back at our 10+ Royal Adventurer Group Program in Perth! 👑✨

From 2–5 October, participants enjoyed shared experiences and opportunities to practise daily living skills in a supportive group environment.

With support tailored to each person’s needs and preferences, everyone could take part in ways that felt right for them - building confidence, connection and independence along the way. 💚

Down Syndrome Awareness Month 💛💙
Thursday 1 October – Saturday 31 October

This month is a time to recognise, celebrate, and increase understanding of people with Down syndrome.

People with Down syndrome are individuals first — with their own personalities, interests, abilities, goals, and dreams. Awareness is about seeing the whole person, challenging assumptions, and creating communities where everyone has the opportunity to belong, be heard, and thrive.

Throughout October, we reflect on the importance of inclusion, respect, and meaningful support, and we celebrate the contributions that people with Down syndrome make to our communities every day.

Let’s continue to build spaces that value difference, celebrate individuality, and support everyone to live a full and meaningful life 🤍

Our latest Footy Legends program was packed with fun, connection and plenty of great memories!

From footy and sport themed experiences to in-house games, cooking and time spent together, participants had the chance to build confidence, independence and friendships along the way.

National Week of Deaf People 👂✨
Monday 21st - Sunday 27th September 2026

This week is an opportunity to recognise, celebrate, and learn more about the Deaf community.

Deaf people communicate in many different ways, including Auslan, lip-reading, written communication, and assistive technologies. Deafness can be visible or invisible, and every person’s experience is unique.

National Week of Deaf People encourages greater understanding, accessibility, and respect — reminding us of the importance of clear communication, inclusive environments, and listening beyond sound.

This week, we celebrate Deaf culture, identity, resilience, and contribution, and reaffirm our commitment to creating spaces where everyone feels seen, understood, and included.

NDIS SCHOOL HOLIDAY GROUP PROGRAM 👑

Looking for a school holiday program that combines fun, adventure and meaningful skill development in a supportive and inclusive environment?

Our Royal Adventurers 3-night Skill Building & Independence Group Program is designed specifically for young people with disability, with individualised support that encourages confidence, independence and connection.

📅 2nd–5th October 2026
👥 Ages 10+
🤝 1:1 or 1:2 support ratios available
🚐 North & South pick-up/drop-off locations

🎡 Activities include:
• A full day at the Perth Royal Show
• Battle Karts
• Upside Down House
• Games, downtime and supported opportunities to build friendships

Throughout the program, participants are supported to work towards NDIS-related outcomes including:

• Building social and communication skills
• Developing independence and daily living skills
• Increasing confidence in new environments
• Practising teamwork, problem-solving and decision-making
• Building meaningful friendships and community connections

Our supportive and inclusive group environment allows participants to enjoy new experiences while receiving the level of assistance they need to feel safe, included and supported.
