🏄‍♂️Mens Talk Winter Surf Safari 🏄‍♂️

What started as a four-week Surf Safari has become something pretty special-

Across the four weeks, we had a mix of blokes come together — some who had never surfed before, some who were getting back in the water after surfing when they were younger, and others who already had experience and were keen to share it.

Week by week, we watched confidence grow, connections form and the crew genuinely start looking forward to getting in the water together. It became about much more than learning to surf — it was about getting outside, having a laugh, challenging yourself and connecting with other blokes in a really natural way.

We wrapped up the four weeks with a trip up to Lancelin, bringing the crew together for one final surf and a great day on the coast.

A massive thanks to everyone who got involved, especially who taught all the fellas and made the Surf Social what it became.

This is only the beginning !! If you'd like to be involved in our next upcoming surf social , click the link in the BIO, drop a comment, or a DM.

Empower yourself with the skills that could save a LIFE !

Want to equip yourself with vital, potentially life saving knowledge ?

MHFA is a course designed to give you the tools to better understand Mental health issues and how you can best respond to them in real world scenarios.

Most people are familiar with the idea of a physical first aid courses that teach the skills and knowledge required to recognise and respond to life-threatening emergencies and provide a first aid response across a range of different situations.

MHFA adopts a similar approach.

Using a practical, skills-based action plan, participants learn the skills to recognise and respond to someone experiencing a mental health problem or mental health crisis, until professional help is received or the crisis resolves.

Individuals who complete Mental Health First Aid training are known as MHFAiders. Equipped with the skills to listen, connect, and offer support when it matters most, MHFAiders play a vital role in reducing stigma and promoting pathways to support for those experiencing mental health problems in our workplaces, communities, schools, and tertiary institutions.

This course usually has a fee $300+, But for Mental Health Week Mens Talk are giving members of the community the chance to do this training for free.

When : October 8th + 9th

Where : Katitjin Blue Mind Place, 163 The Esplanade , Scarborough .

Please arrive 10 minute earlier, with a pen/pencil, paper and open mind and heart :)

*Full Attendance of both days is essential*
