What do I do? Well…. I am a Nurse Practitioner and Audiologist specialising in ear and hearing health.
My role combines advanced medical assessment with comprehensive audiological care. I assess and manage conditions affecting the ears, hearing, tinnitus, balance and middle-ear function. This may include examining the ears, removing wax or debris, performing hearing and pressure testing, diagnosing common ear conditions, prescribing medications when appropriate, and arranging referrals or further investigations.
I also provide hearing aid services, tinnitus management and ongoing support for people with complex or chronic ear and hearing concerns.
Where specialist medical or surgical care is required, I work closely with GPs, ENT specialists and other healthcare professionals to ensure patients receive coordinated and appropriate care.

Hearing loss is often noticed first in everyday conversations; asking people to repeat themselves, missing parts of a story, or feeling tired after listening.
Starting the conversation can be the first step toward better hearing, easier communication, and feeling more connected.
Small conversations can make a big difference.

Nurse Practitioner care + Medicare rebates

Many people don’t realise that eligible Nurse Practitioner appointments can receive a Medicare rebate.
At Perth Ear Health, this means you can access advanced ear and hearing care, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, prescriptions where appropriate, and ENT referral pathways; with Medicare support for eligible appointments.
Current rebates range from $12.40 to $114.20, depending on the length and type of consultation.

Preparing for your hearing appointment? 👂✨
A little preparation can help you get the most out of your visit.
Before your appointment, it can be helpful to:
• Write down any hearing concerns or changes you’ve noticed
• Think about situations where hearing feels difficult
• Bring a list of current medications or relevant medical history
• Bring your hearing aids, if you already wear them
• Bring a support person if you’d like an extra set of ears
Your appointment is a chance to ask questions, understand your hearing health, and feel confident about your next steps.
Perth Ear Health is here to support you with independent, personalised ear and hearing care.
