Tomorrow our QMSLSC IRB Racing Team will be firing up the BBQ at Bunnings Clarkson as they continue fundraising for their trip to the Australian IRB Championships.

This incredible group of volunteer lifesavers has spent countless hours training throughout the season, balancing work, uni, school and family commitments while developing their racing, rescue skills and teamwork. Now they have the opportunity to represent our club and Western Australia on the national stage.

Travelling to Aussies with boats, equipment and the whole team comes with significant costs, so we’d love your support.

If you’re heading past Bunnings tomorrow, stop in, grab a sausage sizzle, say hello to the team and help support their journey. Every sausage sold helps get them one step closer to competing against the best IRB teams in Australia.

Whether you’re popping in for breakfast, lunch, or just need an excuse for a Bunnings snag, we’d love to see some familiar QMSLSC faces down there!

This weekend our IRB Racing Team heads to Leighton Beach to compete at the State Championships, taking on the best crews from across WA in the battle for top honours.

At QMSLSC, we’re incredibly proud of this team. They’ve put in the hard work, committed to the training, backed each other every step of the way, and built a strong team culture along the journey. The effort they’ve invested all season has been outstanding, and now it’s time to put it all on the line.

We can’t wait to cheer you on from the sidelines and watch all that hard work come together this weekend.

It’s been a huge season for QMSLSC, with plenty to celebrate across the club, on and off the beach.

As we start looking to what’s next, we invite all financial members to attend our upcoming Annual General Meeting.

Please arrive by 1.45pm so we can get everyone signed in and start on time.

What an incredible achievement for our club at the 2026 Surf Life Saving WA Nipper & Youth Awards!

We are so proud of all of our finalists who were recognised among the very best young surf lifesavers in Western Australia. Their dedication, commitment, leadership and passion for surf lifesaving are a credit to themselves, their families and our club.

A very special congratulations to Charlee, who was awarded U14/U15 Lifesaver of the Year!

This is an outstanding and thoroughly well-deserved achievement, recognising the hard work, skill and commitment Charlee consistently brings to surf lifesaving!

The Surf Life Saving WA Nipper & Youth Awards, are proudly presented by the Scottish Masonic Charitable Foundation of WA and celebrate the outstanding achievements of Nipper and Youth members across the state, and we couldn't be prouder to see our members recognised at this level.

Congratulations to all our finalists and award recipients - you continue to inspire the next generation of surf lifesavers and we are so proud of you all!

To have our club named as a finalist in the prestigious Lavan Club of the Year category is a reflection of the incredible people who continue to drive our club forward every single day. From patrols and training to our youth development and community culture, this recognition celebrates the growth, passion and commitment across all areas of our club.

What a Night........!

Saturday night’s QMSLSC Annual Awards Night was truly something special!

From the laughter and dancing to the celebration of our incredible members, it was such a fantastic evening and a wonderful way to recognise the dedication, achievements, and community spirit that make our club so special.

A huge congratulations to all of our award winners and finalists on the night, the passion and commitment shown across every area of our club this season has been outstanding and we are incredibly lucky to have such an amazing club community ❤️

It was also wonderful to have our patrons, Mark Folkard MLA and Tracey Roberts - Federal Member for Pearce, join us for the evening and help celebrate such a special night for our club community. Thank you both for coming along and sharing the evening with us.

Of course, we also need to acknowledge our unforgettable MC for the evening - the one and only Chopper Martinez 😅

We definitely weren’t prepared for the completely unhinged and wildly unpredictable ride you took us on throughout the night, but somehow you kept everyone on their toes and the laughs flowing from start to finish. Thank you for the time, energy, and effort you put into the evening - it certainly became a night nobody will forget or want to repeat anytime soon!🤣

A huge thank you as well to our DJ Marc, for creating such a fantastic atmosphere throughout the evening, from the awards ceremony right through to the dancefloor later in the night 🎶

To our photographer, generously donated by Rift Photography - thank you for capturing the evening so perfectly, you can feel the fun and laughter coming through. Judging by these photos, it’s safe to say a wonderful night was had by all.

A massive thank you also goes to Jon and the team from Montebello Catering. The food was incredible, and your team’s professionalism, efficiency, and ability to work seamlessly around the flow of the evening was so appreciated.

And finally, to all of our amazing volunteers who helped set up, decorate, organise, and pack down the event - thank you ❤️Events like this truly take an army, and without the support of our club community, nights like these simply wouldn’t be possible.

Thank you again to everyone who attended and helped make the evening such a memorable celebration.
