Last week the ARG team exhibited at the WA Mining Conference and Exhibition at the Perth Convention Centre.

It was a great chance to showcase ourselves and our products, including AMKUS Rescue Systems, AGM-Products Mighty Struts, and smoke soap, and to hear direct feedback from people on site about what's working for them and what they'd want to see next. We also had some great conversations around personnel hire and training for sites looking to build out their emergency response capability.

Great to have Matt from Blacksmiths join us on the booth throughout the week, and to meet so many new clients and suppliers! 🀝

Thank you to everyone who came down to our booth and took the time to talk through what we do. Thank you to the ARG team who set up and ran the booth all week. It was a great event all around, bring on WAME27! πŸ”₯

The Firefighters Cancer Foundation Australia supports firefighters affected by cancer, which is a risk that comes with the job far more than most people realise. It's a cause that matters deeply across emergency services, and one we're proud to stand behind.

At the end of August, the ARG team travelled to Brisbane for the FCFA Annual Stair Climb and Gala Dinner. Funds raised go directly toward supporting firefighters and their families through cancer diagnosis, treatment, and recovery.

It was inspiring hearing about the work FCFA volunteers do on the ground: visiting crews, educating them on cancer risk and prevention, and supporting members through diagnosis and treatment. This work happens quietly, long before any fundraiser, and it's the backbone of everything the foundation achieves.

Congratulations to everyone who took part and fundraised, and thank you to the FCFA volunteers, whose work behind the scenes is what makes events like this possible year after year.

If you're able to support the FCFA's work, we encourage you to look into what they do: fcfa.org.au

For the past four years, ARG has delivered training in partnership with a third-party RTO. We want to start by thanking them for their support in helping us build our training capability during that time.

Over the past two years, we've been working toward something bigger: gaining our own RTO status so we could deliver nationally accredited training directly under our own name. Blood, sweat, and tears doesn't quite cover it! None of it would have happened without Lynda, who worked tirelessly to get us to this point, and we are so grateful for everything she's put into this.

As of 1 June 2026, that work paid off. ARG is now a Registered Training Organisation (RTO 53037), still delivering nationally accredited emergency response, rescue, and underground live fire training, but under our own accreditation.

For our clients this means training delivered by the same team that understands your site, your risk profile, and your operational reality, but now backed by our own nationally recognised accreditation, from start to finish!

Thank you to everyone who has trained with us, trusted us, and helped us get here. This milestone belongs to all of us πŸ”₯

Tuesday brought a strong turnout to our AMKUS demo day, and it was great to see both new and familiar faces come through, get hands on the tools, and ask the hard questions.

Seeing responders put the AMKUS Rescue Systems tools through their paces in a controlled environment is the fastest way to understand what a tool can actually do under load, and the conversations that come out of that are the ones that matter when you're specifying equipment for your site.

The day also gave us a chance to put our Mighty Struts to work alongside the AMKUS range, and it was good to see the response from teams using them for the first time.

Thank you to Matt from Blacksmiths for sharing his expertise on the day, and of course a big thanks to the ARG team who set the day up and kept it running! πŸ‘

Couldn't make it? Send us a message or email and we'll sort a demo for your crew. πŸ“© [email protected]

Something new has landed at ARG and RSA πŸ”§πŸ’ͺ🏼

AGM-Products products Mighty Struts are battery-powered vehicle stabilisation and lifting systems built specifically for the fire and rescue industry. They are designed to lift or stabilise vehicles quickly and safely using single-switch operation, a maximum working load of 1500 kg, and a working range of up to 240cm with extensions. This gives rescue crews the speed and control needed when every second counts.

Through Rescue Systems Australia, ARG is proud to be a dealer for AGM Mighty Struts, bringing this capability to emergency response teams across Australasia, backed by our local training and service support.

ARG's Director Matt and our Growth, Capability, and Training Coordinator Stoof recently attended the Kalimantan Mine Rescue Pro Summit 2026, an Integrated Fire & Rescue Program for the mining industry hosted PPTDPK, as part of the Road to the 5th KFRC 2027.

Matt delivered a symposium presentation on heavy vehicle fire rescue (thanks to Wawan for translating), then he and Stoof lead participants through live vehicle fire suppression training designed to build real, applicable capability among the attendees.

Trips like this are always a good reminder of how lucky we are with the gear and resources we have access to at home, and how much heart and hard work the Indonesian mine rescue teams put in regardless!

Big thanks to PPTDPK for having us, and to everyone who put in the effort on the day πŸ”₯😎
