🌺 Ka Huna and Lomi Lomi… are they the same thing?
It’s a question we’re often asked.

Both are beautiful forms of bodywork with roots in Hawaiian traditions, and both use flowing touch and connection - but the experience, movement and intention behind them can feel quite different.

Heartworks Lomi Lomi is often gentler and more inward, with long, flowing strokes and a beautiful connection between the heart and hands.

Ka Huna is more dynamic and rhythmic, using the hands, forearms and elbows, with movement that can feel almost like a dance around the body.

So what really makes them different - and which might speak to you? We explore it a little more in the blog at the link below

More Than a Massage — A Ceremony of Aloha 🌺

Ka Huna and Heartworks Lomi Lomi are not simply massages. They are intentional ceremonies of receiving, releasing and reconnecting with yourself - should you allow it.

Before each session, I take a moment to connect with you and hold a focused intention for your journey. I bring this intention into the bodywork, creating a space where you can soften and surrender.

🌿 Ka Huna - a dynamic flow that invites deep relaxation and letting go, leaving you with a sense of lightness.

🌺 Heartworks Lomi Lomi is a deeply nurturing Hawaiian massage - very soothing for the nervous system.

It is time set aside for you.

Come as you are.
Receive with an open heart.
Allow yourself to be held in Aloha. 🤍

A massage can relax the body.
A ceremony can touch your soul.
