"Sometimes the smallest reset creates the biggest ripple."
This month at Brain Net, Aidan from NeuroPhysics Therapy - NPT Wide Bay got us thinking about something many of us recognised straight away - after a brain injury, it's not unusual to feel a bit off, foggy, tired, flat, wobbly or out of sync.
We explored how the brain and body are constantly communicating through the nervous system and learnt some surprisingly simple exercises that might help with the reset.
There was good posture, leg wobbling, index finger touches and, of course, The Flamingo (scientific names were promptly replaced with Brain Net names!)-. balancing on one leg with eyes open, then closed.
Our challenge this month? Give a few nervous system reset exercises a go every day for the month and see what you notice. Waiting for the kettle to boil - perfect Flamingo time!
If you're interested in taking it to the next level, contact the team NeuroPhysics Therapy - NPT Wide Bay
Until then... look up, sit tall, wobble your legs and be a flamingo!
