A little update from Rock N Relax

I’m excited to share that Decongestive Lymphatic Drainage treatments are now available to book through my booking system!

With this new treatment comes a new, more detailed Health Summary Form. This form is really important as it helps me understand your health history and individual needs so I can safely and appropriately tailor your treatment.

If you’re booking lymphatic treatment** for lymphoedema, lip oedema or oedema, please complete **the whole form**, ensuring all information is relevant and up to date.

If you’re booking remedial massage**, the remedial massage section is the most important. However, if you think you may want Decongestive Lymphatic Drainage at some stage, I recommend completing the **full form now.

📋For my existing clients: I’ll also be sending this new Health Summary Form through to everyone to complete, so I can update my records and make sure I have the most current information about your health and treatment needs.

I’m excited to share that I’m now a qualified Decongestive Lymphatic Practitioner!

This is something I’m really passionate about because the lymphatic system plays such an important role in how our bodies manage fluid, waste, and swelling.

Decongestive lymphatic therapy can be beneficial for people experiencing oedema, lymphoedema, and lipoedema, as well as those who simply feel like their lymphatic system needs some extra support.

Unlike a traditional massage, lymphatic drainage is very gentle and light. It uses soft, rhythmic strokes and specific clearing techniques over key areas of the body to encourage the movement of lymphatic fluid and support the body's natural drainage pathways.

✨ What does it feel like?
It is a very calming, gentle treatment. There is no need for deep pressure — in fact, lymphatic work is performed lightly because the lymphatic vessels sit close to the surface of the skin. Many people find the treatment incredibly relaxing and soothing.

But the treatment itself is only one part of the process.

For the best results, movement and at-home care are really important. Gentle movement, appropriate exercises, breathing techniques, hydration, and self-care techniques can all help encourage lymph flow between treatments.

Think of it as working with your body rather than forcing it.

My goal is to provide a safe, gentle, and personalised treatment while helping you understand what you can do at home to support your lymphatic system and get the most from your treatments.
