Look who decided to pop in and say hello today! 🥹🐨❤️

The children were so excited to spot this beautiful koala visiting our property! Watching their faces light up as they watched through the window was absolutely priceless. 😍✨

Moments like this are such a beautiful reminder that learning doesn’t always happen from a book or a planned activity, sometimes our best learning experiences simply wander through our front yard! 🌿🐨

As our little friend was heading towards the main road, we knew we needed to help keep her safe. We contacted the wonderful Wildcare Australia team, who came out to safely relocate our little visitor to a much safer area. 🥰🐨💚

What an incredible, unexpected learning experience for the children learning about wildlife, safety and caring for our native animals. 🌿✨

When children are given the space to explore baking independently, they’re doing so much more than mixing ingredients. They’re building confidence, practicing problem-solving, and learning to follow sequences and instructions. Cracking eggs, measuring, stirring, and pouring all support fine motor development and hand-eye coordination too.

Moments like these also encourage a sense of pride in the children’s achievements, especially when they get to enjoy the final result.

The children explored mixing food colouring, bicarbonate soda, and vinegar using droppers, watching bubbling reactions, creating colourful explosions, and learning through hands-on play.

Activities like this help build fine motor skills, curiosity, creativity, and early science understanding while having SO much fun! 💛🌟
