Akajack’s Leathercraft Classes One of my greatest passions is honing the knowledge and skills of Leathercraft and sharing this with others. Email me at: [email protected] to discuss more.

I can travel to almost anywhere in the NT and run a workshop for up to 12 pple/per session. I provide hands-on workshops that cater to those who have had previous, or no experience. For the past 30 years I have been passionately embarking on exploring the skills and artistry of leathercraft, while continuing to discover new ways of creating with this amazing resource. This has lead me to sharing with others what I have learnt, while encouraging others to discover their own flavour. I have shared these skills and encouragement throughout various fields over the past 18 years, which have included correctional, disability and youth services, as well as various settings within the wider community throughout Perth, Melbourne, Canberra and Alice Springs. My teachings are designed to assist those involved in easily gaining artistic/handcraft skills and personal fulfilment. It is inspirational to witness and be part of the joy and empowerment that is gained by others when they open their creativity with leathercraft. I offer this to you. I look forward to sharing my vast knowledge and assisting all to gain the experience and confidence needed to continue creating with leathercraft in your own environment.

Finally managed to organise an event in my own backyard, rather than travelling miles to a destination (though I do love to ride for miles 😎).
I’m now offering 2-3 nites stay in the tranquil Green Valley Homestead, just 6kms out of Pine Creek, for a weekend of delving into the grass roots of working with leather, as you languish in the natural beauty around Pine Creek.

An awesome weekend workshop was had out at Stapleton Station west of Katherine. A fantastic, creative space at the homestead on the hill.
Thanks to the troopers who put in the hard yards to produce some amazing results. I’m continually impressed by the artistic-ness from first-timers that is added to basic leather projects.
And a big thanks to Steph for tracking me down and putting it all together. Not to forget the hospitality to all from her and her partner Will.
